What a wonderful day for our daughters first communion, thanks to the all of the Royal George Hotel staff. The restaurant was laid out and decorated fantastic with all the finishing touches along with our daughter having their own personalised menu. There were extensive menu choices for adults and children and the service from the highly professional and very friendly...

I enjoyed my stay here and the hotel is lovely but a few things let it down. Attention to detail could be improved. For instance at breakfast time we where seated but never attended to again and various other tables, who arrived after us, had their breakfast before we were even served. Overall though I would return as it is...

We were warmly welcomed and shown to our restaurant We had a choice of steak pie; fish in breadcrumbs; chicken and a salad. All agreed the the food was excellent and the meringues were a thing to die for; those not eaten where boxed and taken home. There were scones with cream and jam with tea or coffee. The lounge...

While traveling through Perth I spent two nights in this hotel and I found the comfort and quality of the accommodations to be ideal. Great location to town center for exploring and dining! Right on the river Tay! My one complaint is in the size and quality of the bath towels - too small, thin and scratchy. Breakfast in the...

We have stayed here several times before but was put off by the car park at the rear. Great news this is now resurfaced with all the spaces marked out, no more getting blocked in. Lovely room with Tay view and beautiful breakfast served in the restaurant with a lovely view also. Great location and good car park at last!

What a beautiful place! From the kind and courteous porters who wouldn't take no for an answer getting my luggage up the stairs, to the helpful receptionist who helped my figure out left luggage options in Stirling and book a taxi so I could catch the right bus upon leaving, to the waitstaff at breakfast overlooking the river who brought...

First, the more negative points. The TV in my room was small, and placed far away from the bed. The hotel has the slightly 'musty' smell that I always associate with 'traditional' Scottish hotels. There was a VERY limited range of complimentary drinks/snacks in the bedroom (one small pack of miniature digestive biscuits). The bathroom (and, to a lesser extent,...

Traveling north and running late I decided to book "en Route" via a phone app, as it's a little like Russian roulette and Forest Gump & a box of chocolates, you never know what you'll get and here is where the title comes in, I'm not really sure how to rate this hotel, from the entry it's very posh and...

A group of us always stay here (fishing trip) several times a year. Some of our party have been staying for 30 years plus. I am one of the younger and less grey haired of the rabble. There is an old world charm to this place, it isn't dated - old world doesn't mean that. The service is excellent, the...
