We booked this hotel at the last minute having been very disappointed with The New County Hotel. The Manager and the Chef (I think) were both very friendly and welcoming. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable.Breakfast amazing. Overall we both loved it and enjoyed our stay very much.

Stayed 4 nights and chose this accomodation because it was listed as dog friendly and we were given a large room on the ground floor that they use for guests with dogs. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and the breakfasts excellent. There was sufficient car parking on site. The location ideal was for walking into Perth and this... More

Arrived at Sunbank after a long journey, very helpful staff, room was clean and tidy with a rather small screen TV. Breakfast was good and found atmosphere with guests and staff good. Small walk into Perth and an area we felt very safe. Rather noisy at night early morning if you have windows open. Would stay again.

Stayed here one night during a few days in Scotland. We didn't have a reservation but were greeted pleasantly and shown a room for our approval. The room was clean and presentable but quiet small. There is parking at the rear of the building and it seems secure, there is CCTV overlooking the property. It was at breakfast that we... More

We only stayed overnight on our way back to London, but found this to be a nice hotel to stay in- a grand old building which has been lovingly decorated and maintained. We had a lovely ground floor room, with a good shower room. It is in a good location near some beautiful gardens, and easy to walk into Perth.... More

We have travelled all over the world, including many "third world" countries...and have NEVER EVER seen USED soap in a hotel room (at the sink and in the shower). Not only is this a disgusting, money saving practice, but it is quite unsanitary. The towels had been air dried-COME ON (and were rough and very uncomfortable to use)....saving $ again... More

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. However, I would like to take issue with some of your points. In case you did not notice there is always wrapped unused soap in the bathroom, together with the other toiletries, in other words you have the choice. It is all about being environmentally friendly, not about penny pinching... More

Stayed here for two nights bed and breakfast. Very nice smaller hotel located just across the river from the city centre - easy stroll to the main restaurants and attractions. Good parking facilities. Breakfast was good but we ate in the city restaurants both nights so can't comment on other food. Rooms were well decorated, spacious and clean. Would definitely... More

We stayed for four nights on a bed and breakfast basis at this lovely hotel. Although it is on a busy main road, this didn't bother us. It is well positioned and only a ten to fifteen minute walk from the centre of Perth, where there are super restaurants. The hotel is spotlessly clean with lovely soft furnishing and very... More

My wife and I stayed for a night here in May, on the last leg of our tour of Scotland. The room was cosy and basic, and was clean and tidy like the rest of the hotel. Location was superb, with safe parking and only a short and pleasant walk into the city. Breakfast was very good and the service... More

We stayed for one night during May 2016. When we arrived our luggage was taken and after checking in we were shown to our room. I have read both positive and negative reviews for this hotel, but having stayed here I cannot see how anyone can find fault. The hotel and our room were very clean, our room was spacious,... More
