After checking in we had to ask reception to clean our room as the ceiling and walls were covered in cobwebs.......hundreds of them (no exaggerating) ....the walls in the room were also covered in stains which I presumed to be either tea or coffee which seemed to have been thrown all over the place ....there were holes and tears in...

Couldn't get booked into premier inn so stayed here, room ok, clean, staff pleasant enough. However bed is uncomfortable!! Just a change of pillows would make all the difference, more hangers in the wardrobe would be good too. Also a couple of hooks on the bathroom door. However a nice tv, ironing board and iron, bottles of water all provided....

Stayed here for two nights, thought place was very tired but you get what you pay for! Rooms seemed clean, checked bed seemed okay, in final morning went back to room after breakfast which was also very nice, to find BEDBUGS running across the bed. All belonging bundled into black bags and sealed for journey home to prevent spreading to...

Arrived here and got checked in, looks very dated and a bit musty smelling. Went to our room which was ok, I'm a great believer in you get what you pay for so for a family of four to stay for £79 I knew it wouldn't be the Ritz! Room was clean, very basic and dated but we wouldn't be...

The staff were not very polite or friendly, and one of my pet hates is when the staff speak to each other in their native tongue in front of customers, and most of the staff are from other countries so it happened more often than not. I booked 2 double rooms, and got 2 twin rooms. The bedrooms was clean...

Stayed in this hotel a few times over the last 2 years, always find the staff very polite, rooms have always been nice enough, clean and tidy also the bathroom/shower rooms are always very clean. This would have been some hotel in its day but yeah it does look a bit tired now, wouldn't put me off staying again though.

First impressions were of a tired old hotel that probably hasn't had a lick of paint since the 90's. Tired old saggy sofas in the lobby didn't help. Room was very cheap and had some nice touches (biscuits and chocolate on the bed) At £30 a night i wasn't expecting the Savoy. The bathroom again, looked like it hadn't been...
