I stayed here recently for 1 night. Fantastic price from booking.com £25.00 for 1 night for 2 people bargain! The hotel itself is needing a facelift the decor is dated however our room was big and the hotel staff had even left a forrero rocher each on top of our towels which were folded upon our bed. I thought this...

Many thanks for your recent review, we appreciate all feedback and it is critical for our business. We are a very historic venue, 1881 was when the hotel first traded, and as you can imagine we are constantly maintaining the building. I am however delighted that you found the room of a good size and more importantly our staff providing...

We stayed here on new years eve for one night. Free car parking which is great and hotel just a minute walk to the centre. Room was basic but warm and had all you need. It could just do with an upgrade. The curtains, matresses etc had all seen better days. Breakfast was good. But no tattie scones!?! I liked...

I have no problem with this hotel at all. For the price I think it's worth the money. Cheery attentative staff. Large comfortable room, clean adequate bathroom with toiletries if needed. We didn't have breakfast although it was offered when we checked in, as was a discount voucher for the restaurant. Walkable to the town centre. Free parking (look out...

Thank you very much for your comments, we appreciate all feedback to help maintain our beautiful and historic building. Indeed we are a Victorian Era building, 1881 to be exact, large and grand, and as such have ongoing updates and bits of TLC throughout the property. These are carefully governed as the property has significant historic value, one of which...

We had a short stay in Perth and booked this hotel on the road and in a rush. We were not disappointed with it. It was close to/ opposite the railway station, had ample free parking and near the town centre. In its day, it must have been one of the grand old railway hotels and it still retained a...

Thank you so much for your kind words, we work hard to maintain such a grand building, indeed we were a Victorian railway hotel, dated 1881. We train our staff regularly and we are always delighted to see positive feedback. We hope to welcome you back soon. Many thanks Gemma

My husband and I stayed for two nights over a weekend while out and about in Perth. Handy location near the town centre. Free parking if you are driving, and next door to the train station. Decent room with nice shower room - shower itself was excellent. The hotel could really do with a refurbishment though, particularly the public rooms...

A grand building which in its day would have been elegant, stylish and classy as all hotels of the victorain era built next to the central train station were. Unfortunately this hotel has badly slipped in its standards and attractiveness. I needed an overnight pit stop on my journey to the far north of Scotland and now wish I had...

On our first visit to Perth we were lucky to book ourselves into this hotel. It was an excellent price, £78 for the two nights, and the location was ideal as we were travelling by train. The staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout the hotel and the Spanish receptionist upgraded our booking! Our room was spacious, as well as...
