We checked into the Woodlea and found our room at the top of this charming B&B. We stayed in the "family room" with our teenage children and it was perfect for one night. Our hostess, Susan, was extremely thoughtful, giving us a map of the area and marking on it restaurant choices and the laundromat (at our request). Our small...

Susan was the perfect hostess. Fun and easy to converse with. Breakfast was wonderful, bacon cooked to perfection and fruit home grown from her trees. We were 4 adult women, stayed in a room with 4 twin beds. Room size was adequate. Beds very comfortable. Shower temperature had a learning curve. Don't plan on parking out front as the spaces...

The Woodlea Hotel is a lovely, privately owned hotel. Susan, the owner was wonderful to work with. Every emailed question was answered quickly and helpfully. The rooms are not fancy, but completely adequate and comfortable. You can have a cocktail in the front room before going on to dinner. If time allows, Susan will come in and chat. The hotel...

Stayed here in June for T in the Park. As we are both over 40 we do not do camping in festivals - we wanted a clean, comfortable place which was convenient for transport to the festival and that would also provide a decent breakfast to keep us going well into the day. Susan and Woodlea did exactly that. Perfect...

My wife and I stayed at Woodlea hotel for 2 nights during the rewind festival and we have to say we could not have picked a better place to stay. The hotel is in the perfect spot for the centre of Perth and is a short walk from the train and bus station. The staff were all very friendly and...

Standout hospitality from Susan, our hostess, who looked after us beautifully. We found the Woodlea very convenient, comfortable (despite the room being a tiny bit cramped) and in particular the breakfast excellent (including poached peaches and apples house made.)

While the room was on the budget end of things in decor, the sincere hospitality of the host Sue and her staff lent a homey feel to our stay. Breakfast was so plentiful and Sue was so eager to help us find attractions and addresses. The hotel was very conveniently located and included four convenient parking spots right out front....

Had 2 nights at the Woodlea and really enjoyed it. Great location - close to shops etc. Susan recommended a restaurant which we tried and was very nice. The hotel is nothing fancy but is comfortable and clean. We left Perth for 2 nights in Aberdeen (a chain hotel) and you could really taste the difference in the breakfast with...
