This hotel is a 1600's manor house and makes quite a statement when first viewed. Large windows on our triple overlooked the large front lawn and we enjoyed the view while sipping tea and eating cookies that were provided in the room. Take a walk next door to see the Highland cows and then walk on to the wide beach...

Good value and very friendly staff, food was fantastic, we stayed for two nights, Dinner was fantastic, portions could have been a bit bigger but that is my opinion. Great selection for breakfast with a huge choice. I would go back for the Halibut it was melt in the mouth.

Beds were comfortable and shower hot and as fierce as you wanted it! Heated floor to the bathroom so always warm. Dinner in...

Interesting, well-positioned building; just a short walk from the footpath beside Moray Firth (which makes a great post-dinner stroll if the weather's good - and ours was). Welcoming staff, one of whom gave us an upgraded room on arrival. Yay! It was a lovely large room, albeit with inadequate lighting - as is often the case in hotels. We had...

We stayed at the Newton Hotel in mid-January on an "Itison" two night deal, for a post - Christmas break. The hotel is lovely, full of charm and yes, maybe a little shabby in places but this all adds to the character, it is a very warm and welcoming hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Our room was a little...

Stayed here for a couple of nights on an impulse to explore a new area. We were made very welcome by all the staff throughout our stay. We were given an upgraded double room on the first floor, overlooking the extensive grounds. It was large, well decorated and very comfortable - and had a large bathroom. There was plenty of...

This is an awesome place to be. So characterful, charming and authentic. We've got a seminar for four days and everything was fine. It started and ended with a great staff, impressed by an amazing ambience, lovely rooms and extraordinary meeting space. We would like to come back everytime again.
