Whereas this is not the worst hotel I have stayed in, it comes quite close... My first impressions were that we had walked into a somewhat grubby and smelly place. This was confirmed when we got to our room. The room was grubby and the bed not properly made. The carpets were worn. Breakfast - we could not eat. Poorly...

The 'inn' sits on top of a pub. Horrible manky staircase which is poorly lit leads to non-descript rooms, which are although better than the corridor, still in need of being redone and scrubbed. the carpet was filthy. The beds were actually comfy. Clean sheet? Well yes apparently they were. The room had a nice sized TV which was a...

From the outside the building looks pleasant, however once you leave the communal area and start to go upstairs the problems set in. My carpet was filthy, the toilet/sewer smell was around the whole floor and strong in the room and there were hairs on my pillow before I even touched the bed. When I complained to a staff member...

Sorry I just want to open my door with ease and confidence after a long day at my step fathers funeral . Ensuite tiny and in need...

Stay away from Nairn if you are travelling with pets.In Fact Scotland was the least pet friendly in all of the UK. Small toilet with tiny shower. One of the places that makes a...

Approach to the Inn via the car park gives an appearance of being run down.man empty pub accentuated this impression. Ditto the dingy stairs and corridor leading to our room. Once you manage to unlock the door(turn the key 5/6 times!)our room, number 8,was actually good. Nice double bed and tasteful furnishings. However the ensuite is tiny although the toilet and...
