My mom, my husband, and I spent a night here while on vacation in Scotland for Mom's 75th birthday. The rooms were lovely, the bed was so comfortable I wanted to cry when it was time to get up, and the proprietors were friendly and helpful. The grounds... so beautiful! A wee path down to the beach was like discovering... More

Stayed here in September with my Dad and friend. It was an adventure for my 93 year old Dad and we were all a little bit anxious about taking him away from home with his various disabilities. we need not have worried. Camilla and Ryan could not have been more helpful and accomodating. They made us so welcome and we... More

Very nice family running this Hotel, very polite and courteous. Immaculately clean and refreshing. A fantastic home cooked breakfast with the best locally sourced black pudding in Scotland. I will be returning.

Having just completed the Lands End to John O'groats cycle ride, I needed a place to stay overnight before heading back home. Camilla and Ryan were very welcoming and helpful upon my arrival, and I finished a tiring day in the snug and comfortable bar with a pizza and a glass of whiskey (as recommended by Ryan). My single room... More

While searching on line for a place to stay in Inverness, we stumbled upon the Invernairne Hotel. I don't know why we had the impression this place was remote, perhaps it's location by the sea, but it was near town, restaurants, and a lively, easy to walk beach front.
