Having travelled and stayed in many a hotel this rates very high on my list Where do I start. Rooms in this hotel are spacious, modern and of a very high standard. The food is excellent and very reasonable priced. The staff are pleasant and friendly and nothing is seams to be a problem. Over all the hotel is a very...

The plus points for this hotel are the food, the friendly staff and the soft bedding. Apart from that our stay was a bit of a disappointment. This hotel is definitely not 4 star standard. We found it hard to get to sleep due to the squeaky floorboards above our room, our bathroom was a similar size to an aeroplane...

My family and I stayed at the Clubhouse last weekend and also had breakfast and an evening meal. I emailed ahead as my daughter has coeliac disease and a peanut allergy and eating away from home can be quite stressful. The duty manager, Martin, and head chef, Tommy, could not have been more helpful, ensuring that the food was not...

From the moment you enter the bright, friendly reception area, you know you're in for a pleasant stay. Everything was fresh & bright in a contemporary/modern style and it's clear the interior decorators knew their stuff. The room was comfortable and well equipped with a great end-suite. Some may be disappointed at the lack of a bath but I prefer...

My wife booked this hotel through Secret Escapes as a combined birthday/anniversary weekend break. Nairn is well placed as a base for exploring the Moray Firth area, Inverness, Loch Ness and the Speyside Whisky Trail, and the Clubhouse Hotel is located in a quiet residential street away from the town centre. It's not obvious from the exterior, which is in...

Myself and my partner stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights. To be honest it wasn't a great start when we got there. Our room was outside the hotel which isn't great when it is pouring with rain. Our room number 14 was really small and the shower is tiny too. Anybody larger than me wouldn't get in...

Found this hotel on booking.com as required a quick stay for the night. On arrival staff were very friendly and directed me to my room. My room was split up into 2 halves one area had a sofa couch and the tv and the other half an extra large bed. Best part for me was a docking station next to...

My family and I enjoyed a fantastic birthday meal here on Sunday. The service was very friendly and efficient and the food was fab and very fresh. We enjoyed the chicken liver parfait, prawns and haggis bon bons to start followed by very generously sized sirloin steaks and very fresh haddock and chips. The homemade chips were the best I've...
