Florence is a simply delightful host; she is so friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. There is something charming about your accommodation also doubling as the local post office, and the lambs outside my bedroom window were truly sweet. I have never seen anyone pay so much attention to detail before. The breakfast table was such a treat: exquisitely... More

Dailanna House is a very warm & welcoming home with a fantastic view out the lounge. Florence Nisbet make our stay so wonderful and comfortable. My husband is not a chatty guy but enjoyed an evening of talking with Florence ( I unfortunately fell asleep). Breakfast the next morning was just as great. I really wish we would of booked... More

If you're anywhere near Fort William, absolutely stay here. (Even if you're not, still stay here.) It is in a beautiful location perfect for those driving or taking the train - it's just off the main road and about a half mile up the road from the railway station. Our views were misty in the morning, but our hostess correctly... More

We had planned on arriving late-ish (9pm) but got held up on out drive. So we actually arrived closer to 10p. I was concerned that the owners would be upset so I emailed ahead warning them of our lateness. I didn't need to be concerned. Florence still greeted us at the door, gave us a quick tour and got us... More

This is a piece of jewel hidden on the Mallaig road beside Loch Shiel. If coming from Fort William, after crossing Locheilside station, look for a signboard "B&B on the hill". Thats where you take a right turn on the hill to reach this beautiful B&B. It is an excellent B&B. It is beautiful, clean. The views are stunning from... More

We stayed here one evening while touring the UK. The room was great, breakfast was delicious, and Florence the owner made us feel very welcome. The fire in the lounge when we arrived was welcoming as well! We would recommend staying here.

We booked 2 rooms at this b & b. Florence, the owner makes the b & b feel like a home away from home. The view out to the Loch is breathtaking and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and Florence is always happy to answer any questions about the area. We would love to come... More
