Staff nice and friendly, nice sized room with all the facilities, the breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice and good quality. We enjoyed the whisky tasting they do in the bar. Lovely views from the bar and breakfast room.
Hotel is old but clean. Little or no updating but large rooms and clean. Was a couple of miles from main part of town. Restaurant was not good. Meal was terrible. Suggest going out to eat. Breakfast was good.

A superb hotel, lovely room,lovely food, great bar, we couldn't fa ult this place, it was spotlessly clean,we would have no problem in rating this place as one of our favourite destinations for a wee break.
