Hubby booked here for a night away for my birthday & we weren't disappointed by the room, it was gorgeous, as was the food, but the bar didn't have jack Daniels! It's a little pricey but worth it for a treat. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely relaxing stay. Staff were friendly too.

I booked this at short notice. The room was really comfortable and good value. The house is beautiful and well - positioned. I chose it because of the restaurant, which turned out to be closed, without any notice or any information on the website. The member of staff who told me was completely unapologetic and did not recommend any alternatives.

Traditional Scottish manse with cozy rooms. The staff was very friendly and the fire was lit in the front room which was a nice touch. We stayed in room 2 which has a 4 poster bed and is in the front of the property that overlooks the loch. We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant. The quality of the...

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this highly rated restaurant for dinner. A limited but well thoughtout menu, with food well prepared, plated to inspire and tasteful. To find a restaurant of this quality was unexpected and the ratings earned were well deserved. Hhighly recommended.

Recommended restaurant in the area, came here with great expectations. Starters and Deserts were reasonably priced, the main courses were premium. Three of us ordered the pork belly, in total I think we got about 40 grams of pork, and none of the crackling that was promised to us. The meal was, at best, left over pork and tinned beans....

Sorry you didn't like our food, so pleased we were able to give you your meal (which you ate) free of charge. Portion size is important and the meal is designed as a four course (first course free always) experience... I understand the Chef had only two portions of cracking on the Pork dish and felt as all three were...

We stayed for one night at the Lime Tree for my partner's Birthday, and it was really lovely. We travelled with another couple from Spain and they were equally impressed. We had dinner at the restaurant and it had a lovely Scottish menu, and an amazing selections of wines. The international staff were really friendly, and the rest of the...

This was my third visit and this great little hotel has maintained it's unique local charm. Our request for an early check-in, given the arrival of the sleeper train was granted, which was a bonus! Request a room in the old section with a loch view - fantastic location. The bathroom and bedroom both had great views over the water...

We stayed one night at the Lime Tree, and had a great stay. We were passing through on a drive/hiking expedition through the highlands, and this was such a cozy place to stop and recuperate. The food in the restaurant really is of amazing quality.

A little hotel in Fort William overlooking the Loch. Our room (#1) was lovely, and from the peeks taken when other rooms were being cleaned, the other rooms are equally nice too. The food is very nice, both breakfast and their dinner menu too. There were some minor limitations I noticed. The first would be the lack of parking which,...
