A very friendly and welcoming hotel. Unhurried breakfast, lovely food, wonderful views over the loch. By far and away the best hotel we have stayed in in Scotland. Very good value for money. Highly recommended.

It's a nice clean hotel and under 5 minutes' walk from the Railway Station. We had a room that faced the street but since the traffic was light and didn't go late into the night, it was fine. The room had coffee/tea making facilities and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast offered was both a cold buffet selection and hot breakfast...

This is a basic but good hotel. Good as a base camp for hiking the surrounding areas. There is not a lot of room to dry off your hiking gear but you can make do. The rooms are quite small but clean. The bathroom is a good size with a nice bath. The hotel is located close to the very...

Stayed here for a night with my boyfriend, warm welcome from the staff. Room was just what we needed, bathroom very clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was too a good standard. Traveled back on the Sunday however, the train service was cancled due to lack of staff which happens quite regularly. However overall was a really good stay and...

The hotel was a real disappointment with unfriendly staff, old furniture and a room that smelt of mould. The bed head had seen better days and the mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. We couldn't wait to get out of the place. Don't bother staying there.

We stayed here recently for 1 night before travelling over to Skye. Three star hotel but with 5 star service. Room very clean and comfortable with fresh decor. We ate in the bar which had a good choice of menu with plenty dished on your plate. Pleasant atmosphere and staff very pleasant and accomodating. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Spent one night in February with collegues, as part of our business tour in Scotland trying to find new locations for our clients. We booked 4 single rooms, the hotel is centrally located, close to high street, buses and train station. Check in went very smooth and proffessionaly, the receptionist left us as the only good impression about this place....

We spent 3 nights at The Imperial Hotel. We had a lovely warm welcome by the receptionist. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and spacious. unfortunately there wasn't a front facing room over looking Loch Linhe but the room itself made up for that.
