We booked a 2 bedroom lodge for 3 nights and had the most amazing time staying there. As the other reviews suggest, the views and the location are stunning. Every now and again, the clouds would clear up and we could see the snow clad nevis range behind the hills right from the living room and the front deck.

I want make special mention about the care and hospitality Kieran and Malcolm provide. The day we were supposed to leave, this area was completely snowed out. Although this made the views even more stunning, the approach road and the lodge property got completely snow covered. Kieran came up to our lodge in the morning and suggested we do not hurry to check out and also offered us an extra night's stay at no cost if we wished to stay till the weather improved! He then spent the whole morning cleaning up the driveway and running up and down his 4wheel drive to clear path leading out of the property. The weather improved a bit through the day and when we decided on checking out, he offered to follow us down the road till we reached the motorway just to make sure we were safely out.

We will definitely be coming back to stay here and cannot recommend this enough to others.

We stayed in the “Crathie” 3 bedroom executive lodge as a family of 4 including a 4yr old and 21month old. We found it to be incredibly spacious and impeccably clean. The largest bedroom easily took a travel cot beside the king size bed and still had room to spare. The beds we used were both extremely comfortable and great nights sleep were had in the peaceful surroundings. The lodge had everything we could possibly need and good television channels and apps for the children too.
The location is just fabulous, although we only had a view of Ben Nevis on our first day due to wet weather and low cloud the views we did have were absolutely stunning. The lodges are situated in a breathtaking part of the country and the scenery and peaceful surroundings give the feeling of being a million miles away yet with Fort William only being 10mins away you have everything on your doorstep. We especially enjoyed taking the bikes along the Great Glen Way canal. It is a fantastic base for exploring the area and we fully intend to return for a longer stay to see much more. We highly recommend a visit to the Glenfinnan Viaduct to see the Jacobite/Hogwarts Express, it’s a magical experience.

I really can not fault Lochaber lodges from first communication with Kieran back in October 2020 the site manager to rescheduling our booking with Malcolm the owner this year.We met Kieran when we arrived who was very friendly and helpful. We stayed for a week in June 2021 in Nevis a 3 bedroom executive lodge from opening the lodge door our first impression was wow.The lodge was immaculate throughout and the kitchen had everything you needed and more washing machine and dishwasher to. Beds were very comfortable great night sleep as it was so quiet. The view from the lodge was stunning looking onto Ben Nevis and the union canal it was so peaceful sitting on our balcony.I think there is 12 lodges in total on the site covering all budgets all lovely set out.It is about 5 miles from the lodges to Fort William with all the amenities you need, and a great base for exploring. There is so much to see and do in the area and further a field. You will not be disappointed.

Thank you Malcolm and Kieran looking forward to coming back

We booked directly with Malcolm and Kieran after our family holiday needed to be changed from one large house, they were both fantastic from the first email followed up with a telephone conversation. Excellent communication before our arrival, some things will be a little different for them just now however they have adapted well. We had two x 3 bed lodges and found them to be great, well decorated and fitted out, well stocked kitchen, we found cooking no issue at all. The area is so peaceful, just what we like and made a great base for our days on the road. We visited Mallaig, Fort William, Glenfinnan and Drumnadrochit from our base and would highly recommend.

Beautifully location, overlooking Ben Nevis, road into the lodges was so scenic, we even saw a Golden Eagle on the ground in one of the fields!

The lodges are very clean, well equipped and a real highlight for my children, who loved the cosy lodge.

The gentleman at reception was always helpful and a real source of local knowledge.

I can 100% recommend the Lochaber Lodges. We loved our stay.

Can't praise this place enough. Firstly, a BEAUTIFUL location with stunning views of The Nevis Range and set in picturesque surroundings. Secondly, The lodge itself was modern, clean and pleasing to stay in. Thirdly, the folk running it are really nice and friendly and made us feel welcome. Also, it is well situated for visiting a host of places such as Ballach na Ba/Applecross, Loch Ness Cruises at Fort William, Drumnadrochit, and the Jacobite Steam Locomotive which runs from Ft William to Mallaig. After an 8 hour drive from Oxfordshire, the sight of Lochaber Lodges made it all worthwhile!

We spent 3 nights in one of Lochaber Lodges. We had booked a 'Coll' Lodge but were informed that we were being upgraded for unforeseen circumstances. This turned out to be one of the 'Monach' lodges which is a lot more spacious with things like an En suit and better furnishing I believe. We were not disappointed at all! All the lodges come very well equipped in terms of the kitchen, large fridge and separate freezer. Large TV in the large lounge area, small TV in the twin room. It would have been nice to have a TV in the master double but this is my preference, not everyone else's. All in all a really high quality lodge in a lovely setting. It was nice to be a bit further out of town with peace and quiet. Grounds are very well looked after and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We would defiantely return!

Absolutely stunning location, well equipped lodge with everything we could possibly need including a freezer. We stayed for a week in June and I just marvelled at the view of Ben Nevis every morning, day and evening. The scenery was fabulous and the changing weather conditions meant it was amazing to see every day. The lodges are beside the Caledonian Canal which is a great walking path, it's a bit of a shame you can't access the path directly from the lodges but I understand this is beyond the control of the owners. I'm a bit of a twitcher and loved seeing all the different birds in the hedges and trees outside our lodge, with many venturing onto the decking area. We were greeted by one of the family when we arrived and made to feel very welcome. Our lodge was so comfortable, the only slight issue was a dip in the metal bed frame which was quickly rectified. I was delighted to have a bath in the main bathroom and there was also a shower room ensuite. This was truly a most memorable place to stay and I will continue to highly recommend it to anyone that will listen. Don't be put off by the B road access point, it's very easy to navigate with plenty of passing places and not much traffic. Any easy drive to Fort William to stock up on supplies and return to the peace and tranquility of the lodges.

Everything was just as described on the web page. The lodge was exceptionally well fitted out and scrupulously clean. The scenery surrounding it was beautiful with views over the Caledonian Canal and towards Ben Nevis. The single track road is not as bad as you would imagine having lots of passing places. The owner and manager were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in one of the Moy lodges which was very spacious.
