Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The B&B is located in a perfect location with a wonderful view from the bedroom. The owners are really nice and very helpful. Breakfast was really good and we were provided with assistance for our next stop.

We spent 3 nights here at the end of the West Highland Way and it was a great finish to the trip. Conny and Rene are very welcoming and friendly (as are the cats, if you can find them). Our room was very comfy and warm and the breakfasts are huge, so we left well rested and well fed!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights while walking the West Highland Way. It was a perfect place to end our time in the Highlands. The room was clean and very pretty, we were in the Pink room. Breakfasts were really good and made to order. The hosts were very warm and welcoming and always seemed to appear just when you needed them. They clearly love where they live and it shows.

We stayed at Ardblair for five nights whilst we explored the local area. We loved the place and the hosts and would highly recommend it. The room itself was beautiful and wouldn't ask for anymore. The breakfast was home cooked, very filling and exactly what you need to start your day exploring. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and tidy. Rene and Connie were the perfect hosts. Stay here when you're in Fort William!

Just back from a couple of nights in Fort William staying at Ardblair. Lovely comfortable house, good bed linen, great views and a central but quiet location but what makes it is the genuine warmth of the welcome. A real treat.

We stayed at Ardblair after having completed the West Highland Way, and were pleasantly surprised by its location and by our hosts. They were super pleasant and very knowledgeable on the surrounding area. Ardblair is a beautiful house, pretty much in the center of Fort Wiliam. We appreciated the relaxed atmosphere, the large room and the equally large bathroom. Our breakfast in the morning was probably the best breakfast we had enjoyed throughout our journey along the WHW, and presented to us with a big smile. We regret we only stayed for one night, and look forward to visiting hosts Conny and Rene again in the future.

We spent two nights here on our recent trip to Scotland, there were three couples and we took up the whole house. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family, Rene and Connie are the perfect hosts and use their personalities to the fullest, They are funny and at the same time so friendly. The breakfasts were superb, lots of variety and no lack of fruit and yoghurts. I honestly can't think of one thing that I could say they should change, because it would take away from our experience there. We loved the rooms, we had the Blue room and we loved the tales that Rene was spinning to keep us entertained about the "visitors" to the room, all a joke and in good fun, he's a great story teller.

We stayed in the blue room which is beautiful. There is a tea making facility with toffees and packaged oatmeal biscuits but no bottled water in the room and we weren't offered tea when we arrived at 6 but they provided fresh milk when asked. The house is a lot larger than we expected but they don't provide a reception room to relax in. We were told the internet in the blue room may be slow or spotty but we didn't have a problem with it. The Dutch couple than own it are lovely, friendly folk with helpful advice on what to see and where to eat in the area. You do fill in a breakfast sheet the night before and there's no place to enter the number of eggs you might want - you get one. Rene was very helpful with our luggage and came out to show us where to park.

It was far the best B&B we visited in our road trip through Scotland. Amazing location the surrounding was perfect and the view to the loch incredible. The hosts was very welcoming, friendly, funny and we felt like our home. Our Golden room was large, decorated so nice with nice details (I love the bed sheet with the birds) and the view from our room was lovely and relaxed. The bathroom was very clean spacious, with a bath tub. The breakfast was fresh cooked, hot and delicious. I like the fact that both Rene and Conny spend a lot of time talking with us and make some very good recommendations. Car parking was available, and the location is perfect, only 2 minute from the main street, shops and restaurants. This B&B is the reason we want to visit again Scotland. Thank you for a
