There were just three of us in a four bed dorm and enjoyed a quiet evening in the hostel after having dinner in Fort William (easy when you have a car)! There are plenty of kitchen facilities and we had breakfast in the spacious kitchen area in the morning. It was a peaceful nights' sleep in the countryside. The kitchen...

We came up as a group of 22 to kayak. We had booked in another local hostel.... But couldn't stay there due to damage from students. The owners were away for the day but on phoning them they told us they had space, they allocated rooms and told us to make ourselves comfortable. They arrived later and sorted out linens...

This place has spacious parking and it offers sauna bath, though it's paid. It has a very big kitchen fitted with all the cutlery. A railway track and a waterfall are very close to the hostel. The only problem is you need to have a car to come to this place. Get your stuff and cook here.

Quiet, comfortable, well - equipped, really large, en-suite room at the end of the building so away from the other visitors. Good shared facilities including kitchen/diner, drying room and garden to use. Plenty of parking. Hotel across the road for drinks and food if needed.

It's a nightmare trying to find accommodation in the Fort William area in August. I tried for weeks to no avail, Until I stumbled on Aite Cruinnichidh. I emailed and received a quick reply in return. It's not within a close distance of the bus so I was kindly offered to be picked up from the closest station, I happened...

The female owner was extremely nice and helpful. We had a party of 6, so we were placed in the 6 bed room. We were asked to leave our door unlocked at night since it was the only room with a fire escape, which made me feel uneasy. She offered for us to split into two rooms if we wanted...

arriving via Speanbridge it is a slightly hidden right turn and down a little just passed Roybridge... comfy rooms abd kirchens, good shower after we had found them. very quiet and relaxing. hosts hardly noticable ... in a pleasant way ... we had stayed in a place ruled by a seemingly ex marine soldier shortly before. so this was heaven.

Willing to escape the everyday life for a weekend, we booked a double room in this hotel me and my lover. The couple in charge of this place are lovely, they were available for our questions and gave us rides to and from the train station twice. The wifi wasn't perfect, but the kitchen was well equiped and large, with...

A really nice little login cabin away from civilisation, you can stay connected via the internet but don't expect a phone signal. Wi-Fi costs £1 for the entire duration of your stay and is quite good. Excellent location if you want to clear your head, read in a quiet room with French windows, go for walks into wilderness. Place is...

We stayed here for two nights on our Highland tour. The host, Gavin, has an excellent knowledge of the area and gave us some great tips. The hostel is very good value for money, as we found B&Bs to be a bit too expensive. It is not the most fanciest place, so don't wait for luxury facilities, but we have...
