We booked 2 rooms (we went with 2 friends who sleeped in a twin bed room) and our stay was perfect. The location of the hotel could not be better and the rooms were clean and tidy, even though the room decor is not very appealing to our taste, we were really comfortable here. The best thing for us, was...

Lovely building, close to everything. Right on the river, beautiful view from our window. Close to the cathedral and castle. Breakfast was one of the best we've had in Scotland. Very clean and comfortable room. We loved it

We found this guest house at the very last minute and they couldn't have been more helpful. We had a lovely room which was immaculately clean with a great river view. Right in the centre of the city but situated on the quieter side of the river. A beautiful breakfast with a good selection and freshly cooked to order. Would...

Strathness was reserved for me as part of an Inverness-based mountain bike vacation. Our group stayed there the first and last night of the trip. The breakfast was plentiful with hot food made to order. Our room was comfortable enough although a bit small for 2 single beds. There were 3 flights of stairs to climb to my room. The...

Staff were great, very very friendly, helpful and happy to chat. Location was excellent. Slightly unlucky that my room faced the away from the river, but that's luck of the draw and I can't really blame anyone for that. The room itself was comfortable and reasonably priced. Breakfast was excellent too :) Would certainly stay here again.

Comfortable spotless, well apponted rooms, some with great views of the River Ness. Right across the nearby bridge into downtown. Breakfast is made to order and tasty! The guesthouse has a comfortable lounge, a great place to read a book!

The Strathness Guest House has a great location on the River Ness and just a short walk from the city centre. The rooms are comfortable and extremely clean, and the morning breakfast is quite good. Very friendly hosts, too.

It's hard to imagine a better place to stay in Inverness. Location, comfort, breakfast, hospitality were excellent. The only two possible negatives were not issues for us: no lift and find your own street parking. We stayed on the third floor and had no trouble getting our luggage up and down, but our hosts would have been glad to help...

I think that covers it. Right in the center of town, on the river, you can walk to anything. The hosts were great--helpful, friendly, always thinking ahead. (They called my room to see if I had transportation to my meetings, and called a taxi for me when I didn't.) The room was a bit small but it was advertised as...
