We booked two double rooms here via the Scotland Info Centre in Drumnadrochit and arrived late on the same day. On arrival, we had a friendly welcome and were shown our rooms - both upstairs. Our room, with a 'cosy' en-suite, was roomy and very comfortable but with a smaller bed than we prefer and er...... no TV. The other...

What a wonderful quiet location and great hospitality from Ian and Annabel. This B&B has just two rooms and we booked them both for our stay. The one has an en suite the other a private bath for this room's sole use across the hall. The house is in a quiet residential location but we easily walked in to town...

The Breahead is very close to the city centre, just a few minutes footwalk but it is situated in a very quiet of Inverness - so you will not be disturbed by traffic noise. We had no en suite but a private bathroom. Our room had enough space to move around. It was decorated with a good sense of taste....

We've just stayed there again as last year. The rooms a very clean and comfortable! The Hosts are so lovely and helpfull at all the times. It's only about 5 mins walk to the city. I really can recommend this B&B. But they haven't got a dog, as someone else wrote. Even if you got a car, there's not a...

Thank you for your positive comments. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and noticed how quiet it is even though we are only 5 minutes from the start of the shops.

We loved our short stay at Braehead and Inverness Would love to return to both. Annabel was kind to accommodate our last minute request for a room. The room was lovely, quiet, and clean. The bathroom across the hall was our private facility and was very nice - roomy shower. The walk into downtown Inverness was not far through neighborhoods....

Lovely Victorian house located up the hill in a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood, near city centre and next to the main commercial area in Inverness. The couple running the guest house are nice and pleasant. Our room was overall absolutely OK. Bathroom was not en-suite but just beside our room and only for us anyway. Breakfast was excellent. Price was normal....

I did not get the chance to stay at this b and b as the owner cancelled my booking at short notice. She misquoted the price of the room when i made the original booking and wanted to put me in a different room for one night. When I agreed the change and to pay the higher amount, she cancelled...

The B&B is located in a very quiet area, 5 min walking from the beginning of city center, where you can find typical shop and restaurants. Management is a very kindly family, and according our experience in Scotland, room and services are more than a 3 star B&B. They will serve breakfast of every type, just ask for an information...

Great location within easy walking distance of Inverness city. A real bonus is secure off-street parking. Accommodation is upstairs in a spacious room although the small bathroom was disappointing. Annabel and Ian are lovely hosts and happy to share their local knowledge.

We stayed at the Braehead Guest House in Inverness in July, 2005. The couple running the guest house were pleasant and gracious. Our room was at the top of a staircase and was simple. A sink, wardrobe, bed, and 2 endtables. Simple decorations, satisfactory mattress. The shower & commode down the hall were shared with the other rooms (except for...
