First of all, this is clearly under new management or ownership. Previously mentioned hosts from last summer and earlier were not present. In fact, the new hosts mentioned the old owners were coming one of the days we were there and seemed nervous about it. They also seemed relieved that we would be out of the house with our children,... More

This was a very friendly and cosy place to stay. It was easy to find coming from the train station, and right in the centre of town (although on a quiet street) which was great as we didn't come with a car. The hosts Lydia and Graeme were very friendly and helpful, suggesting places to visit and eat in, even... More

I stayed here in mid-October 2016. It's a very pleasant B&B in a fairly quiet street, but not far from the centre of Inverness. (However, do note that it is on a hill and if coming on foot from the railway station you will need to climb some steps - the Market Brae steps are much easier than Raining's Stairs,... More

The B&B is on a quiet street with easy access to the restaurants and shopping district downtown. Very comfortable en suite rooms. We stayed in mid-September. The hosts were very friendly and helped one of our party get some needed medical care. The B&B has a separate large lounge on the second floor that was perfect for our group off... More

Comfortable and friendly guest house. Clean and practical room with en-suite shower room - nice. Close to town centre (just a few minutes walk) yet in quiet part of town. Very friendly hosts. Great breakfast.

I had the pleasure of spending two nights at the Ardconnel House B&B in Inverness. The hosts, Graeme and Lydia, were knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. The location is a short 5-10 minute walk from the train and bus stations, from the main shopping/restaurant district and from the beautiful pathway along the River Ness. The B&B was clean and well-appointed; the... More

Stayed here for two night earlier in August 2016. The location is very near the rail station, which was handy. The look of the B&B is very nice and traditional looking. The room we had was a double on the top floor - many stairs, but totally doable. The room was clean and welcoming. The bathroom was small, but totally... More

We stayed for 2 nights. It's a really nice place with very kind owners. The breakfast was delicious. The room was small, but that was expected. The shower was really great! The B&B is quite centrally located but it should be noted that one must climb a large amount of stairs (73 to be exact!) from the main street to... More

It's located near the castle, river, and many good places to eat. Our hosts provided us with free drink coupons for a few of the local restaurants. It serves as a great... More

Great place to stay, I loved the classis interiour and what an excellent breakfast to go service. We had to catch a train early and they made us a great breakfast to go. Nice and quiet and still so close to the centre of town and castle. I think a great place to stay longer than just one night. Nice... More
