the property is an attractive house, situated in a nice locale and within a sensible walking distance of the city centre and the walking path along the River Ness. The proprietor couple were both very pleasant and helpful. would say that the furniture / decoration overall was rather old-fashioned / dated, but clean & tidy. Our room (#4) was rather... More

Stayed here one night as part of a Highland Tour. Great location and very kind hostess. Breakfast was good. We had a continental type meal. We had a double room. Washroom is small but manageable. Easy 10 minute walk or less to city centre.

We stayed here with some trepidation after having read previous reviews on TripAdvisor. This establishment is quite handy to the centre of Inverness. We walked into the central mall in about 10 minutes. There is a foot bridge just down the street on the right over the river then you can amble past many eateries on the water front. There... More

Hand wash in en suite watered down. All sockets continually switched off at the wall, so forget charging anything. Was never asked if I would like a cooked breakfast. I asked if bacon was available and was told none was on, but it could be cooked if I really wanted it. Extremely overpriced. Would not stay again

We were visiting with the Heart of Scotland Tours, and they had booked us at this B&B. The hosts were lovely, the breakfast was generous, and everything was clean and comfortable. Easy walk into town to restaurants.

Quick visit to Inverness had to stay over. Checked in at the lodge and was in for a pleasant surprise. . The welcome was so welcoming, informative and genuine by Margaret, the rooms were immaculate. The breakfast was so tasty and plenty. Will be back for business and family.

A small, quaint bed and breakfast inn for a one-night stay. We started to have reservations after Meg, the proprietress indicated we had to leave our big luggage in the dining room, and bring our necessities to our room, which was warm and snugly. However, we were informed to switch off the heater immediately after use, or else the noise... More

Our preview of this Guest House was quite good and homely for a U.K. accommodation. On arriving in the evening, we could not see much, but it seemed comfortable enough. The landlady was hospitable enough, but on looking at our sizable luggage, we were informed that they had to be placed in the dining room, and we were not allowed... More

We booked the White Lodge through the Tourist Information and, given it was only 5 minutes walk from the city centre, it seemed ideal. When we arrived we were greeted by the very friendly landlady who showed us up to the room. Her conversation soon switched to the fan in the bathroom and how leaving it on would disturb the... More

I stayed here for one night back in March as part of a tour of the Highlands. I was the only one on the bus staying here, and I was the only guest there, period. I had a single room, which was very clean. My wifi signal was just fine. Yes, the shower was hard to control, but I figured... More
