My wife and I recently spent a night at Castle Stuart in Inverness. It was absolutely the most wonderful experience we have had in terms of vacation highlights. Caroline was fantastic and the entire staff was just amazing. Admittedly, we were a bit lucky in that there were only 2 couples staying at the Castle at the time. We had...

This is a castle built in 1625, rebuilt about 40 years ago. It is one of the coolest places we've ever stayed - hidden doorways, drawing room, circular stairways winding your way up the turrets to your room - duck your head, some of the doorways are small, and pack light, there are no elevators. The staff was terrific and...

Magnificent weekend at Castle Stuart in Inverness celebrating a friend's birthday. Caroline, Mrs M and staff were absolutely wonderful. Service superb. I felt honoured to enjoy Caroline's home and loved all the special little touches. Loved the drawing room, the dining room, home cooking, and Lala the shetland pony! Mrs M you are amazing - cooking breakfast at 7am, teaching...

Stayed at Castle Stuart for the second time. It never disappoints, a wonderful place. Caroline was as lovely as ever, very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Making you feel very welcome. This time we stayed in the Battlement Suite Maclachlan, we had the whole tower to ourselves. The roof top was just a few...

We spent one night at Castle Stuart and it was unforgettable. We arrived after dinner and spent the evening enjoying the living room and billiard room. Our room was lovely, and we loved the amenities - the castle book, mini bottles of wine, etc. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Scotland. All in all, sleeping in...

This is our fourth stay at Castle Stuart & it is extra-special to us as it's where we were married 9 years ago. And, as ever, it didn't disappoint! Caroline & Grace went out of their way to make our stay a magical experience. It really is a home from home, with all those special little touches that set it...

We stayed a while back in August. We only had the chance to stay 1 night as our Scotland trip rushed passed us. I had booked the Castle room for my boyfriend's birthday. When we arrived we were greeted by Caroline, we left our suitcases at the door as we had a very early start to Ireland the next morning...

We spent 10 days in the land of my ancestors and Stuart Castle was easily a highlight of the trip - of any trip. What a great time - sadly only one night here. Caroline Stuart met us at the door and commenced the tour which included a search for hidden doors which was fascinating. The Stuarts have done a...

The castle was absolutely fantastic. The staff were very sweet and gave a guided tour that informed on several different aspects of the castle. The food was some of the best I have eaten ever in my life. The room was beautiful and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The atmosphere was so warm and comfortable with the fire in the...

Stayed at unique 1600's castle to the north of Inverness. We stayed in the King's suite, located at the top of one of the towers. Went with our nuclear family and our early-20's kids had a good time in the Billiards room playing Snooker and Darts. Ate in the large dining room at a huge table, with another couple. Meals...
