The hotel is ideally situated on banks of the River Ness. Our room was spotlessly clean, lovely comfortable twin beds, nice bedding. There was a tv, tea tray, hairdryer and large En suite bathroom. The staff were very polite and friendly. Breakfast was served in the large dining room with attentive staff. It was a great breakfast, choice of cereals,...

Myself and my fiance has been given a deal by my parents for a Christmas present and we booked a second night separately. When we arrived for our first night we were informed we had been upgraded to the Ness Suite for free! When we walked into the room I was stunned at how big and luxurious this room was....

Just had a 2 night stay with bed, breakfast and evening meal on one night. Room small but big enough, a bit dark though. Clean and comfy bed, bathroom and shower also nice and clean. Good fluffy towels. Breakfast best of meals. Dinner was nice but felt the supplement for cheese board was un called for, as portion was tiny...

Stayed here for a wee night in Inversnechie and wasn't disappointed as a first timer and would def come back. Staff nice and friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Instead of a meal in the hotel restaurant we opted for McNabs which was also in the deal for the stay and weren't disappointed. My wife had the Wagu burger...

Despite being a little worn and tired, the staff were friendly and the room was 100% OK. It's just a short 3 to 4 minute walk across the bridge to the heart of town....and what a town it is. The Columba had old-world charm (check out the pictures in the bar) and was value for money. We'd gladly stay again...

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago, check in was quick and easy. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the the back of the hotel, not the best outlook but that was not a problem. Just back from here and was pleasantly surprised given the time of year and what we paid for it ! Outside it was cold and snowy, inside the welcome was warm and the room was cosy for our arrival. The Hotel is older but has been updated. The rooms were small but pleasant with an updated bathroom. The lobby and lounge have lots of character. The restaurant was booked so we went to the bar. This is our first time at the Columba hotel. We received an itison voucher which entitled us to an overnight stay with an afternoon cream tea . evening meal, overnight stay and breakfast.
