Would definitely come back and stay, a real gem in Inverness. Susan the owner was very welcoming and the hospitality was fantastic! Interesting books and ornaments filled the manor creating a unique relaxed setting to the stay. The room was equipt with whatever I needed. I fell deeply inlove with the edwardian decor of the place and location! Thanks for...

I stayed two nights in Alice's Room, and it was exactly what I'd needed. Unlike a lot of b&b's I've stayed at in Scotland, breakfast is provided in the room the day before; this meant that I could sleep as late as I wanted and not miss an 8:30 am (or whenever) breakfast time, and also have a peaceful morning...

Attended a family wedding at Touchwood House just under 2 weeks ago and it was lovely. Everything went to plan on the day. The grounds are lovely for photos and the house itself is lovely. The wedding was a handfasting ceremony and very unusual but very special and so memorable for all who attended. the Bride & Groom couldnt have...

I am surprised at the amount of comments referring to the warm welcome received; received yes, welcomed no. We arrived at 3pm and our room wasn't ready, our hosts explanation was that we didn't give a time of arrival, didn't think we had to. She suggested a drive to Dores, about a 10 -15 minute drive away at the head...

My wife and I stayed three nights at Touchwood House in a recent trip to Scotland. Susie was welcoming and ready to help us with dining and local sites to visit. The rooms (we moved after the first night) were very comfortable and quiet. Our jet lag (we'd flown in from the US and driven from Glasgow) was gone after...

This hotel was recommended to me by my business partner who lives close by. This is my second visit as I stayed for 2 nights in May. The hotel is very Victorian which I very much like but may not be to every bodies taste. The rooms are spacious with a big comfortable bed, a small kitchen area with table...

Set in a beautiful location in Inverness, Touchwood is no ordinary Bed & Breakfast, the house is unique and the rooms are stunning. Straight away you can tell the owner Susan is passionate about what she does and the experience visitors have, this is reflected in the warm welcome and her attention to detail. I will certainly never stay anywhere...

My friends and family came to enjoy our hand fasting ceremony at the Guest House. It is a fantastically decorated and unusual place to stay and be married! Susan and her helpers were very attentive, and made every possible effort to make us comfortable and happy. The rooms are all very different, and include kitchenettes with breakfast foods ready. Since...

The house itself was beautiful- it was very fun to stay in a place as unique and lovely as this. The location is also wonderful; we had great fun walking along the river in order to get to town for dinner. However, it was somewhat hard to find as the sign is small and blends in with the bushes, and...
