We were greeted by our hosts Moraig & Bill and we knew immediately we were in a quality property. The rooms were immaculate and spacious, the linen also good quality but the breakfast were exceptional ! Made to order from a menu with the porridge not to be missed. Moraig & Bill were very helpful with suggestions for dinner and...

If you are due to visit Inverness look no further than this guest house. Great rooms, great breakfast and great service - can't ask for more than that. Unfortunately we only stayed one night but planned return next year!

I booked one night while in Inverness visiting a friend. This is a beautiful traditional house, in a quiet street, a short walk to the river and city centre. I stayed in Room 5 at the rear of the house overlooking a lovely garden. It was a twin, but the owners offered a single occupancy price reduction (not all places...

It's difficult to find anything more to say. The standard is always high, the rooms immacullate and always a warm welcome. This is our third stay at Ballifeary and we would not think of staying anywhere else in Inverness. Cannot recommend it and our hosts highly enough. Fully deserve the high ratings they have earned.

What is there to say that hasn't already been said! Great quiet location, lovely hosts, huge and awesome breakfasts and spotlessly clean. Room wasn't the largest or most modern but quaint and homely. Really enjoyed our stay!

Bill and Morag are a good team and provided everything we needed! We had a lovely room, up one flight of stairs, that was immaculately clean and comfortable. I like that they used hand made soaps and lotions whose sale benefitted, in part, some charities. The breakfasts were substantial, including a full Scottish breakfast each morning. We wanted to stay...

Stayed one night at the end of walking the Great Glen Way. Our room was on the ground floor and spotlessly clean with all the ensuite facilities you'd expect. Only 10 minutes walk to the town centre for shops and restaurants and situated in a quiet area. A superb breakfast with a good choice to suit all tastes. Highly recommended.

Stayed here two years ago and had no hesitation in booking accommodation here when visiting Inverness again. The house is immaculate. The breakfasts are first class, cooked to order and served piping hot.. the room was very clean and comfortable and we were made extremely welcome. Cannot recommend Balifeary highly enough.

I agree with previous reviews, a perfect place to stay. Absolutely immaculate accomodation in a house not too far from the city.. The decor is top class, and the breakfast is worth the journey from Yorkshire alone!! The best we have ever had. The hosts are welcoming and and attentive, and have a real gem of a place. We cannot...

Simply perfect! It is really difficult to find out even the smallest flaw.. The quiet reigns in this house. Probably because children are not allowed. I adore this prohibition! Every accommodation in the world might apply it. Guests here are given plenty of attentions. The house is perfectly clean, the breakfast is copious and tasty. The lady is really fantastic....
