The Amulree was one of our pre-booked B&Bs in our self drive tour package. We received a very warm welcome by the owners and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. They were very informative regarding local attractions and where to eat - even being so kind as to make reservations for us. They are absolutely lovely and really went above and...

We spent two nights here. the breakfast is very nice, and the owners are absolutely delightful. The location is perfect, with a short walk to the "downtown" part of Inverness. The owners were very helpful explaining place and site in the area and even provided us the tide times for us to best try to see dolphins. I would highly...

My friend and I were traveling Scotland and staying in a series of pre-booked bed and breakfasts. The first one we stayed in was not very nice and we thought maybe that's what was in store for us for the whole trip. The Amulree restored our hope! Even though on the outside it looked just like other row house bed...

We stayed in this comfortable and ideally situated B&B for two nights. The room and the bathroom were very well equipped and absolutely clean - Nescafé, tea, cookies, shower gel, shampoo, hairdryer etc. The beds were quite comfortable. Very nice and friendly welcome. It should be mentioned that the owners have a nice little dog ;-) Good Scottish breakfast (you...

The hosts were warm. The accommodations were cozy. The breakfast was the best we have had. We were thankful for the time spent there and the recommendation of restaurants and local sights. A very memorable experience

Mr and Mrs Caldwell, the owners were the most friendly and welcoming hosts you are likely to meet. They gave me room 2 (which was a double) for a very reasonable price. Everything was absolutely spotless and the cooked breakfast was as good as I have had in my life, with offers of extra eggs and a yogurt in addition...

We showed up here at the last minute due to a booking mistake by another B & B. The host and hostess were very accommodating and kind. The room (room 1) was nice and the bathroom was amazing! It's a short walk to the city centre and lots to do. The breakfast was excellent and very filling. I would stay...

I had a very comfortable 2 night stay here. Nice sized double bed, huge en suite bathroom. Very warm, and not mean with the heating. Best B&B breakfast I had in ages. I wasn't able to eat again until 19:30 in the evening I was so full. Very welcoming hosts. Very chatty and welcoming into their home. I had to...

The bedroom was beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and well appointed. The owners are very helpful with local information. They kept our spare bags for us while we were in the Hebrides. Breakfast was very good and freshly cooked to our liking. It is an easy 10 minute walk into town on the flat.

We stayed at Amulree in August, it had been recommended to us by friends who stay there every year. We weren't disappointed. The rooms were clean and spacious and the food was excellent. The Caldwells are brilliant; helpful, warm, lovely people and their dog Devon is adorable. Inverness is one prettiest places we've visited and we can't wait to go...
