This McDonald hotel was just what was was required for our overnight stay.It is situated just off the A9 before you reach Inverness in a peaceful country location set within stunning gardens. Our room on the top floor was spacious and well appointed.Very impressed with the bathroom with a large bath and separate shower. We didnt eat in the hotel but...

Just returned from what was quite simply a fantastic 3 course lunch at the beautiful drumossie hotel, in equally beautiful surroundings. My wife & I got married here 3 year's ago so knew the standard would be high. Unfortunately this was the first time we have returned (and it won't be the last!). As we had a 6 week old...

This was a well presented 4 star hotel .... typical McDonald Hotels standard. Location suited us .... we were in transit to Dornoch, had to do a pick-up at Inverness airport, wanted to visit the Culloden battlefield and also hoped to make a return visit to the Rocpool restaurant in Inverness. The room ( Feature Double ) had been recently...

My husband and I stayed one night and the hotel is very nice. The lobby is large and is a good place for the abundant tea in the afternoon. Our room was comfortable and clean. The wifi worked only in the lobby area. The restaurant was very good. We had friends join us for dinner (who stayed at a nearby...

This was an "OK" hotel, but nothing special. I was put off by the fact that there were no blinds or anything on the windows to prevent people from looking into the room when walking past. This meant the heavy curtains had to be closed and the lights put on while dressing/undressing, irregardless of the time of day. Odd, couldn't...

Following two weeks in Ireland and ten nights in Scotland we finally arrived at the New Drumossie Hotel. It was fantastic! There was a wedding on however no noise in our room. Facilities were great, staff and service fantastic and overall a fantastic stay. Would recommend to my friends!

attended a wedding here and it was a great wedding location with lovely garden views and outstanding food.... breakfast also great with friendly staff. felt that the rooms were over priced. they are quite dated and could do with a refurb. they were however spotless. the night porter was a little grumpy and it was an ordeal for him to...

Unfortunately we stayed. I cannot see where they get the NEW in the title, because nothing was new. From when we arrived things went wrong. When entering the room the window was wide open and the room at 12C inside. Later I realised the window was full open to ventilate the musky smell from the room that existed in the...

I have not stayed here but I have been at a couple of conferences and it is a great place to have coffee and cake. It is relaxed, high quality and peaceful....loved it...and will certainly return. An oasis just five minutes out of the centre of Inverness.
