My husband and I stayed here for one night during our route 500 trip. We were made to feel very welcome by Gloria for the whole of our stay. Lovely comfortable bed and views of the sea from our room. Excellent breakfast choices too. Thank you

What a wonderful place to stay. We booked just one night night before our ferry crossing the next day. Gloria made our short stay so lovely. The room was spotlessly clean shower/toilet was sparkling and with plenty of washing products on hand. Breakfast was fantastic and cooke in plenty of time to get our early ferry. Highly recommended.

We are on honeymoon, travelling Scotland and spent a night here with Gloria who went out of her way to help us in every way. Beautiful accommodation, well organised and spotlessly clean. Lovely views of the sea also. Fantastic breakfast. Excellent value for money. Would have been more than happy to pay more.

We stayed for one night after arriving on the ferry from Orkney. We were made very welcome and the facilities, including an impressive selection of teas and other hot drinks. The room was clean, the bathroom large. The only criticism was a lot of plastic and foam on top of the mattress making it a bit hot.

I very much doubt you could find a better b and b in Thurso. Definately in our top ten of all b and b's we have ever stayed in anywhere. We had a lovely big room with loads of space so we could actually unpack and views across the fields to the Orkneys, comfy bed and heating on! (much needed!)...

We were recommended to Skara and Gloria by another B&B. We were doing the LEJOG cycle and arrived soaking wet and exhausted in Thurso. Gloria couldn't do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble and she helped us dry out and sort out some food. Our bedroom and bathroom were spotless and comfortable, with a great view. Funky lights...

We were recommended by another b&b that was full and we were delighted with every aspect. Warm welcome, beautifully detailed, excellent location and views couldn't be improved- fields, water, Orkney! Every aspect of comfort attended to. En suite perfect and breakfast best we've had. Spotlessly clean and fresh. Host very friendly without being effusive or intrusive. Great local knowledge.Would definitely...

We stayed here for one night during our tour of Scotland. Everything was great; the room, bathroom, breakfast and the hostess, Gloria. She was very welcoming and friendly and very thorough with her information. She even gave us a roll to make a sausage sandwich for lunch :-) A fab find!

The place is very nice, quite, good view. Rooms not outstandig in size but clean and comfortable. Gloria, the host, is very welcoming, warm hearted and the best ever! Same is her delicious breakfast. Very helpful also for good journeys. She borrowed us her own maps to find outstanding spots (seals. ..). Best bnb we have visited in 10 days...

We arrived on Gloria's doorstep on the final leg of cycling the end to end without a booking and feeling pretty tired. We were taken in and from then on it was like a home from home and nothing was too much trouble for her, including giving us a lift into Thurso so we could get a meal and also...
