Although the cats weren't my cup of tea, they didn't bother us and the couple were very lovely and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean and breakfast was great and plenty of choices. We had a nice stay here

As other reviews stated, if it were not for the good signage on the roadway, I would not have found this place. My GPS took me to the road one over from where this place was located. The hosts were friendly. They made a cooked to order breakfast, and the food was plentiful. Everything about the cats is true, and...

This is a small b&b in a very good location far northeast. The host was very friendly and asked for special breakfast wishes on arrival which was really nice. She also served welcome tea which we also liked a lot. The rooms are ok and average which is probably normal for such a property. There is wifi but only in...

This is certainly not your average, run of the mill b and b. It is hard to find if you rely on a satnav but take your eyes off the screen and you will see signs pointing the way. We and our dog were warmly welcomed and ushered in to be greeted by a spitting cat who we were rather...

Very dated B&B and not 100% clean. Bathroom was poor with a door that wouldn't slide shut properly and the shower refused to work. Internet was poor but free. The breakfast was mediocre and not particularly well cooked - we were glad to leave.

The website says traditional, I would rather say very old fashioned. The rooms are very dated, with many cuddly toys about the place, and the electric shower had very little pressure so even though the water was hot I was still cold when I got out. Wifi worked only in the public area, where the cats also hang out, so...

After reading the reviews of this place, We started to be really worried about coming here and staying in this BnB. We didn't want to cancel out reservation so we decided to give it a chance. It was GREAT! ok yes, its a bit corny with the teddy bears, and yes, they should mention that there are cats on the...

We stayed for two nights, one before going to Orkney and one after, though our GPS had us one road over and it took us a while to find it. Once found, we were greeted with full-on Scottish warmth and welcoming. I see some comments here about the cats. I am not particularly a cat person, but they were neither...

Stayed for one night as passing through and thank goodness! The positives were.... the bed was clean and owner friendly, but could not wait to leave. Very dated decor, bathroom poor in general but shower never worked and could clearly hear couple through the wall late at night upset that their shower also didnt work. The living room/dinning area was...

Slightly difficult to find in the rain on the day we arrived, but when we found it there was a pleasant surprise for the kids, it's a farm so there werr lots of animals around the place. The room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds, the breakfast was excellent, the kippers and scrambled eggs were yummy, but one serving...
