Stayed for 4 nights in a family room for 6. Third visit and again really enjoyed. Place is very clean. Rooms basic but comfy. Went with another family who enjoyed too. Chef excellent. Can highly recommend eating in but also an excellent kitchen for cooking in yourself. Very reasonable and huge portions which are well received after a days cycling,...

The staff here are wonderful, always so friendly and accommodating. It is the perfect place to use as a base to explore the beautiful local area. The food served here is tasty and filling, just what you need after a hard day on the hills.

Having stayed at the horrid YHA in Inverness I was worried about this place. I am delighted to report it was a much more pleasant experience. Nice big rooms (for family) with bunk beds and clean sheets. Separate shower area which was spotless. Best bit was the food with both evening meals and breakfast excellent quality and value. Nice big...

Staff is very helpful. The rooms are clean. Well equipped and clean kitchen. The bus stop is in frond off the Hostel. The rooms are available from 17.00 but you can use all other facilities earlier. Only the water pressure from the shower is very low.

Cairngorm lodge is situated a few minutes walk from Loch Morlich. We didn't use the car once we had arrived - there is a great selection of walks to do from the hostel. Our room was clean and comfortable. The drying room was great for drying kit. We had chosen this hostel largely because it accepts dogs. Our dog was...

The walking club spent this weekend. The facilities were good with a working drying room (although it can get quite hot) and decent showers. The food is cheap but of good quality, with a huge cooked breakfast costing £6.5. The staff are friendly. The only downside is the wifi. It costs £1 an hour to use. But that is the...

Rooms clean & modern except for the lack of electrical sockets in some. Multi point phone & tablet charger in reception a great idea. Would have been nice not to have to pay for wi-fi - increase cost slightly and give unlimited use! Staff Excellent and restaurant facilities very good and accommodating. Would certainly stay here again.

Wow after a full day on the mountain this was recommended to us as a great place to eat and I was not disappointed. There were 2 chefs cooking up a variety of food and the portions were filling to say the least. I had a 3 course meal for 12 quid and it was fantastic.
