I spent a few days here and was very impressed, I was given a chalet type room which was very warm and comfortable with a better bathroom than most hotels. Breakfast very good in a nice room , owners very friendly.Recommended if you wish to stay in the Cairngorm area. Very high standard of cleanliness and very good value.

I have just returned from a stay at Ravenscraig and I highly recommend it. The B and B is on the main street in Aviemore, a couple of minutes walk down to the main shops/cafes. There is plenty of private parking at the front, which is always a bonus. The room was very nice (single en-suite) - nicely furnished with...

Situated right on the main drag of Aviemore, the Ravenscraig is perfectly located for both winter and summer tourism, close to everything. This is a great place! We stayed in one of the cottage rooms behind the main stone building and found it to be more than adequate. Better than expected. Nice, comfortable, well appointed rooms. The bathroom was large...

Was probably the best of 4 different places I stayed in the Cairngorms area, the owner was away when I arrived, but still impressed by the friend standing in - Good old Scottish Hospitality! I had a single room, the bed was very comfy and a nice soft pillow. Excellent breakfast. The only smallest of gripes (and maybe they had...

I stayed for one night with a friend at the Ravenscraig. We were welcomed into the hotel warmly and shown our room which was in the back, and a beautiful chalet style building. There was a small hallway for shoes etc which was great, and two very comfy beds. The room wasn't huge but it was perfect for what we...

The welcome you will receive is warm and friendly. The accommodation is warm and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is substantial and the choice varied, with eggs fresh from the hens which live in the back garden and other locally sourced products. The cutlery is always gleaming. There are games and books to entertain you in the cosy lounge and the log...

Stayed here for two nights as a base for mountain biking in the area and general break in Aviemore. This place was great, friendly welcome and a clean, spacious room (we were in the chalet style rooms at the back, which felt nice and private and good to be able to park next to it as we had our bikes...

I've stayed here before and really loved it and was incredibly pleased that they managed to find a room for me this time, albeit at rather short notice. It was worth ringing them up to enquire as I'm sure that they juggled rooms around in order to accommodate me. The hotel is very warm and friendly. It is really well...

this B&B seems to be run as a fairly efficient business, but that is not to say that the proprietors and staff are not friendly and helpful. I stayed here recently with 2 colleagues on a walking trip and we found this B&B fitted the bill perfectly. The rooms were of a good standard with all the coffee/tea/biscuits/toiletries you may...
