decided to pop up to Aviemore for the weekend and take advantage of a great deal. Certainly not Hilton Standard I have experienced elsewhere. That said, staff were great and friendly. Very disappointed with the hotel. Star ratings can be misleading but this certainly wasn't 4 star experience. I suppose for the weary traveller without much competition in the area...

Dear designminkey, Thank you for taking the time to post your review and was very sorry to read of your disappointment. Hilton Coylumbridge celebrates its 50th Birthday today so cannot be compared with much newer city hotels, nevertheless, as you say our staff are friendly and efficient. Do Not Disturb hangars are available in each room for those guests who...

This was our second stay here. First room we got was LOVELY and new. Missed the opportunity to use the leisure facilities the first time but the stay was nice. Second time our room was old and outdated, bed was hellish. Our evening meal we paid for in advance and after waiting a lifetime to get served, even just for...

Booked accessible bedroom for my sister & advised hotel prior to arrival that my sister was a wheelchair user. Extremely disappointed, the bedroom was not fit for use. Incredibly small, very dated and packed with as much furniture as possible. I would strongly recommend they declutter your accessible rooms for more easy of wheelchairs. The bathroom was again laughable, not...

Had an over night stay here during a family break - on arrival upgraded to a family room rather than double. Which we were glad of as rooms quite small. Beds were only a double and too hard with pillows far too soft hence not much sleep. You can also here below/above snoring, talking etc. Staff in hotel very helpful....

The front of house part of the hotel looks great and is very spacious. Service is as you would expect of a good hotel. We had booked a family room with the double bed in one room and bunk beds in an adjoining room. This was on the first floor up a small staircase, no lift; and along a very...

We have just had a short break here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel has comfortable and well equipped bedrooms and the food is excellent, with varied menus for dinner and everything you could possibly think of in the breakfast selection--adding to our enjoyment, of course !! Staff were helpful and friendly, and the evening entertainment was most enjoyable,...

we come back every year, and meet old friends. The food is excellent and the bed and breakfast formula is great value. Not much that can be improved.Perhaps a lift to help older people. The service was very friendly and efficient.

We stayed in the Hilton at Aviemore for a two night half board break in November.
