We've never stayed here for a course or accommodation but we pop in all the time for an evening meal. They open at 5pm for food. We always get the steak although they have a good menu and even cater for gluten free and vegetarians. They must have a flame grill because he steaks, which I believe are locally sourced...

This is an excellent place to stay if you are looking for a break in the Cairngorms. The location gives you access to a brilliant range of walks and views. The accommodation is fairly new, spacious and spotless. The centre itself has a gym, small swimming pool, and lots going on there and in the local area. The self service...

Superb trip. Glenmore Lodge accommodation was clean & well equipped. Friendly & helpful staff. Catering was of a good quality & plentiful. Equipment loaned was of a high standard. The Sea Kayaking course was very well managed with excellent & fun tuition (many thanks Graeme & Giles). Stunning scenery plus a variety of wildlife, including sea eagles made it an...

Stayed in 2 bedroom lodge, very disappointed on arrival to find despite paying over £600 that the beds weren't made up, previous occupants dishes still in the dishwasher; dirty towels left in bedroom drawers; old newspapers and receipts under furniture; cobwebs and a general air of an apartment that needed a deep clean. Was using the lodge as a base...

We booked 2 nights B&B in July 2016 for 80 GBP / night. The fact that I received a wrong confirmation was a "typing mistake". When we arrived late at night, the shower didn´t work in our room and the room was sticky and not clean at all. The service person showed up and offered to use the showers in...

Stayed here for 1 night as party of a large group of cyclists. We were in one of the 2 room lodges and it was excellent. It was a decent enough size with 2 twin rooms, fully equipped kitchen, sitting area with TV / Sky, toilet and shower. All linen and towels provided, as were some tea and coffee. Dinner...

I stayed overnight - this is a sports facility so there are no TVs in the rooms, but that said the rooms are really comfortable with lovely beds and ensuite shower room. Tea and coffee facilities are in each room too. The breakfast was huge, with a range of locally produced hot food as well as continental options. One thing...

This is a great place with a terrific chef, lovely Alan who tends the guests, and the Cairngorm Girls--the chicks out in the yard--who provide choice eggs. Very quiet, hospitable place. They were especially nice to an older American woman--me!

I attended a 2 day Avalanche course. The tuition and facilities were absolutely top notch and even though I had limited knowledge and experience prior to the course I didn't feel this hindered me and was made to feel very comfortable despite the extremely steep learning curve I was on. Mobile phone reception was difficult and required a walk out...
