Booked this as a wee weekend getaway for my boyfriends 20th before going back to uni and I am so glad I chose this one! Kenny and Gill are the sweetest and always made sure we were enjoying our stay. We opted to pay for breakfast as well and Gill’s breakfasts were insanely good, with fresh banana muffins made that morning that were to die for. Really good location close to all amenities. The pod we stayed in was very clean and the cutest thing ever. Could not recommend more! Will probably be back in the next couple of months :)

Looking through the possibilities for accommodation in Aviemore my wife chose the Glamping Pods of Eriskay. They are surprisingly spacious and well appointed. Ensuite facilities whilst tiny worked well. Small kitchenette area (no cooking) and fair storage. Shared between the four pods is the "bothy" with washing up facilities, fridgefreezer and microwave. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Check in is normally 1600 to 1800 but owing to a timetable misread we arrived at 2200 (we'd let him know in advance). We still received a warm welcome. Breakfast can be booked at a very reasonable price as an optional extra. Would happily book again.

We stayed for one night before starting our Speyside Way hike the following morning and we could not have picked a nicer place to stay. Ken is a fantastic host and he immediately made us feel welcome. We stayed in the highland coo room which was immaculate and had lots of nice little details such as power blocks beside the beds so we could easily charge all of our devices before our hike. In the morning Gill cooked us the best breakfast we had on our entire trip, which kept us full for hours on the trail. I have visited Aviemore a few times but I have never stayed anywhere as friendly and welcoming, If you are coming to Aviemore to hike the Speyside Way (or for any other reason) I would highly recommend a stay at Eriskay B&B.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at Eriskay B&B and glamping pods. My parents stayed in the guest house and myself and my son stayed in the pods. Where to start. Fantastic welcome. Excellent breakfasts. Homemade bread and banana muffins. Menu of a wide variety of breakfast available. From
Full Scottish, highland, french toast, scrambled eggs. It’s all there. Breakfast was £8. Great value for everything you got. The pods were a huge hit with us. My son called it a hobbit house. Can be double or twin. Has en-suite shower room, kettle with tea/coffee making facilities, small fridge, small kitchen sink and cutlery. Towels and bedding all provided. Telly and heating! There was a Bothy for communal use that we sat and played games in when it rained an afternoon we were there. It was everything you could possibly want from a glamping pod and more. The guest house had a large residents lounge for use and this is where breakfast is served. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. On site free parking and short walk into village centre. Perfect location. Ken and Gilly were the perfect hosts. We will be returning in the future as my son is asking already when he can go back.

What a find! An experience staying in a yurt/pod but what a great one. Ken and his wife were excellent hosts. They went out of their way to make you welcome and try to help you in any way possible. The pods were fully equipped with shower/toilet. Coffee/tea provided. There is also free use of the 'Bodey' where you can make snacks or just spend a cosy time playing board games.
Breakfast is an optional extra at £10 each which sounds expensive, but kept us full all day! Aviemore centre is just 10 minutes walk away and easy to reach train/bus stops if you haven't got a car. A really great place for a short break before the ski season

We stayed here for 2 nights. Arrived before check in but Ken and Gill were happy for us to park and come back after having a wander in town.
Location is easy walk into the bustle but off the main road so no noise.
We stayed in one of the pods which was fantastic, everything you need at your fingertips (literally). We were given a great tour and guide to using the pod and what was there. Having the bothy to use as well was great. It was really hot so our sleep was a little more disturbed than usual but that was the weather...we completely understand these pods are made for colder weather!!!
We didn’t order breakfast when booking the trip but Ken talked about it on our arrival so we decided to do go for it. Come next morning we could not have been more pleased! This may have been the best breakfast I have had when staying away - ever! Gill made amazing scrambled eggs with tomatoes and mushrooms along with french toast with bacon for my partner. There was also a huge choice of cereal, toast, yogurts, fruits and i would recommend the homemade banana muffins! Great value for money and perfect way to start the day especially if you are off walking.
Ken and Gill were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. They were very conscious of keeping to COVID guidelines and restrictions but still made you feel comfortable.
We have already recommended to friends and will definitely be back!! :)
Thank you Ken and Gill!!!!!

Whoah… what a fantastic place to stay.
While touring Scotland we booked one night in the B&B. On arrival we were greeted by the most friendliest hosts I have ever met. Ken and Gill are perfect hosts.
We booked a double room, which was perfect, every amenity you could wish for. Extremely clean and quality bedding and bathroom amenities.
We were unable to find anywhere for dinner in the evening and Ken & Gill offered to set a table in the TV/Dinning room so we could bring back a take away, just perfect!
We opted in for breakfast and boy are we please we did. For £10 we had the best breakfast on our whole Scotland road trip. Delicious fresh fruit with yogurt (thanks Ken) followed by a Scottish Breakfast.. even Haggis (Thanks Gill). Gill also bakes the most delicious Banana muffins.
Location is a 2 minute walk onto Aviemore main Street, plenty of free parking on site too. Just wished we lived closer to visit again, even if only for breakfast.
Thanks again for being the perfect hosts – Bei Dankie!

We truly couldn't have found a better accommodation. Everything was perfect.
The rooms are spotless, comfortable and homey, from the decorations to the complimentary snacks. The En-Suite facilities were appreciated, and everything we needed was provided. The light-up mirror was the star of the show!
We enjoyed the teas/coffees and biscuits. The beds were warm and cosy, and we all enjoyed fantastic sleeps as the location is far enough from busy roads.
The hosts were fantastic. Both Jill and Ken were warm, attentive hosts who went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable and they really made us feel welcome! Of course, we can't forget Layla, the Pug, who is such a friendly and inviting character.
The rest of the accommodation was brilliant. The communal living room was warm and inviting, with very comfortable seats and Sky TV. I particularly enjoyed the Whiskey selection on offer and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast, which offered a wide variety of delicious food/teas/coffee/fruit juice for everyone, with the hosts going to the additional effort of providing homemade bread, yoghurt and muffins.
Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us. We hated having to leave, but we sincerely hope to return one day in the future.

This property a few steps from the center of Aviemore is made up of a main house with some rooms, kitchen, common room and owners' rooms, as well as a series of very suggestive "Cabins" with relative kitchen-socializing space. The rooms are spotless and fragrant: entering them gives you the idea of a clean and well-kept environment. The furnishings are modern, with some details that stand out, such as the mirror with touch switch or the shower that closes automatically. The room is equipped with a TV, kettle, coffee machine with various pods, biscuits and chips, good Wi-Fi connection and space for a walk-in wardrobe. There is the possibility of requesting a very inviting breakfast of various kinds for 12 Pound, but we were unable to taste it because we were leaving early. Upon arrival, the owners welcomed us in a very jovial and cheerful way, promptly explaining to us the functioning of the various appliances in the room and the possibility of breakfast. We really enjoyed the presence of the Pug Layla and the Maine Coon cat Stormie! There was also a beautiful parrot whose name we don't remember! We would have liked to stay a few more nights in this property nestled in the Cairngorms National Park. The moments of exchange and interaction with the owners were also greatly appreciated: not all structures have this possibility and sometimes it is missing. I would recommend it without any doubt. Reasonable price.

My sister and I stayed at Eriskay for two nights in early September - we wish we could have stayed longer! We had a twin room in the house. The room was a good size, with very comfortable beds, and an excellent bathroom. Everything was immaculately clean. The guests in the house get access to a very comfortable lounge room with a giant tv, books, board games, etc, while the people in the glamping pods have an outdoor area and their own little clubhouse. There is outdoor seating near the house for the house guests as well. The indoor lounge room is where the superb breakfasts are served. Gill and Ken provide an excellent cooked breakfasts, supplemented by a buffet luscious home baked goods, cereal, a selection of yogurts, juices, coffee and tea, etc. We have been traveling in Ireland and the UK for nearly a month, and the Eriskay breakfasts are the best we have had, hands down. The location is great - an easy walk to the train station and the shops and restaurants in Aviemore, but tucked away on quiet little street. Ken and Gill are excellent hosts, very friendly and welcoming, and were able to help us with advice on hiking routes, buses, etc. Layla the pug dog was very attentive, and we suspect Layla is the one in charge at Eriskay. Aviemore is right in the Cairngorms National Park. We would love to return and stay longer with Ken and Gill in Aviemore!
