We had a two bedroom villa on exchange for our own gold crown resort elsewhere in Scotland. Not of the same standard - pine furniture a bit tired and linens could do with renewing - but well equipped and particularly suitable for young families. Our double bedroom was quite small and the other room was furnished with four bunk beds....

Booked this place through a timeshare exchange. Apartment 11 sleeps 6 although what we didn't know the second bedroom had two sets of bunk beds. Fortunately there was only two of us although the main bedroom was a bit small. The apartment was well furnished although a wee bit tired. The kitchen was well equipped with nothing missing and includes...

We really enjoyed this resort. It was in the best location to walk into aviemore and within driving distance to tour central and northern scotland. We were very pleased. The service was good. There are no restaurants or gym on site but the huge macdonald resort is right next door. We loved this resort and Aviemore. I would highly recommend...

My husband and I stayed for a couple of nights in Aviemore. Resort is really beautiful and not very far from the main shopping area. Also available they have a launderette and DVD hiring for just a minimum charge.

My wife and I stayed here for a week with an exchange through RCI. The unit itself was great, fine for what we needed. The only problem we had was that we were only able to get a unit with two twin beds. We made do, though. The property is in a great location in Aviemore, and we were able...

Had 3 nights here in the Cairngorm suite and what a lovely place it was. Not great if you can't handle stairs (or if you've walked up Cairn Gorm the day before!) but otherwise hard to fault. If I was being picky I'd say the frying pan needed replacing and a 2nd loo would help but the quality of the...

5 of us (all adults) visited the Scandinavian Village for 1 night in a two bedroom apartment. We arrived late at night and our keys were left at the Cairngorm Hotel. Even at the hotel, we had a warm welcome from the staff and our keys were passed on quickly. The entrance to the village could be better displayed, but...

We were two couples, staying in two units here. My understanding was that there was a double bed in both units, but on arrival, our friends found they were in a unit with twin beds and bunks. We offered ours, but they graciously let my husband and myself have the unit with the double and twin, as they were age...

Just back from a week at Scandinavian village to mixed feelings. Positive- great location close to town centre, villa properties very spacious, very clean on entry(we were in villa 11 spotless), reception staff friendly and informative, kitchen facilities great, everything you need for a week away. Overall it's a real home from home property that will suit those with families....

My sister, brother , parents and I stayed here for 2 nights having previously been time share owners in the scandanvian village. Although we had not visited for a number of years, we were extremely impressed again by the place. We stayed In The Caledonian suite, apartment 66, which is a large 2 bedroom flat. The house was well kitted...
