We were booked in for a week in April. Great central location for all attractions in the Scottish Highlands. Our one bedroom unit was compact with four staying but adequate. Be aware of the late check in. We have never had a check in beginning at 5.00pm. Also the laundry hours are a bit crazy. 9.10am until 7.00pm. A pain...

The best thing about the Scandinavian Village is the location. Right in the middle of town, within walking distance to main street where you can find anything you need. You don't have to worry about drinking too much the Cairngorm lounge or Macdui's pub, you can just walk home. The thing I enjoyed most about the resort were the walking...

We booked a week through RCI Exchange . We stayed in apartment 55 which was just perfect for our needs . We were met with a smile at the reception and given our keys and a map to find our apartment . The apartment was a one bedded unit with a double and single bed in the bedroom . The...

A great villa , perfect family accommodation, perfectly maintained site , very close to all aviemore amenities, well worth a visit I've been coming here for over 20 years. The scandinavian village could do with a small onsite residents bar to save leaving the site for the village , it would be an added income for the members association.

I took a time share swap to the Scandinavian Village for Christmas. The one bedroom unit was very well appointed with great cooking utensils, good tv, an efficient heating system, good shower etc. The one bedroom had two singles and a set of bunk beds. There was also a sofa bed in the lounge. The place was quite small but...

I have stayed here before many years and it was great. It's in a great location and the facilities are well laid out. However the apartment we had on this occasion was very disappointing. The main issue was the poor condition of the apartment. The carpet was in very poor state worn in areas and in need of a good...

We love Scandinavian Village! The location is great: very near to Tesco, surrounded by restaurants, couple of playgrounds and it is in the middle of the Cairngorm National Park wherein you can access lots of the natural attraction. We had the ground floor apartment with the mountain view, very stunning! Seeing bunnies, squirrels, birds, and horses from the backyard itself...

The Scandinavian Village in Aviemore, is located about 5 minutes walk from the town centre, and the units are self catering apartments and villas. These are rustic in external appearance, but modern and fully furnished inside. There is ample car parking, usually adjacent to the accommodation, and a reception building which is staffed for most of the day. For a...

Booked through RCI for a weeks stay. The unit was great. Clean, large and quiet surrounds. A great place to use as a base for this part of Scotland. Very handy to town at just a 5 minute walk to Supermarket, restaurants and other shops. Would have given a higher rating except for a few things. (1) This is the...

As usual, fabulous. spotlessly clean with everything you require in self catering accommodaton. Check-in took less than 5 minutes as did check-out. My complaint is that the wi-fi is unobtainable in unit 18. Wi-fi is advertised as being available so this issue MUST be addressed. I did ask at reception about it and was assured that this year the matter...
