My friend and I stayed here for five nights on a recent trip to Glasgow. I think we got the friendliest welcome we've ever had at a hotel! Great staff, very accommodating. They were happy to adjust the temperature whenever we wanted, etc. The rooms were spacious (we were in a triple basement room and it did not feel like...

Hotel was in a great spot. Close to botanic gardens and the local bars. Very welcoming. Room was clean and ideal for a nights stay. Plenty of choice for breakfast and are happy to change the menu to suit. Would defo visit again.

This is a nice little find in the West End of Glasgow. It has friendly, helpful and attentive staff, nicely decorated and fitted rooms and a good location too. Parking is slightly tricky as the road outside that sits just above Great Western Road is metered from 8am to 10pm but they do have pre-paid cards available at a discount.

Stayed for 4 nights. Absolutely love this hotel - nicely refurbished, spotlessly clean, attentive and caring service, tremendous breakfasts and nicely situated for subway and the Botanical Gardens. Definitely worth at walk to the gardens and along the River Kelvin. Great walks around - the amazing 'Hogwarts' architecture of the university and museums, and the quirky bars / restaurants in...

The service at this hotel was top notch, from early check-in, to calling taxis, to free food, to the location. A short walk to Ashton Lane. So glad we stayed here. Azam made everything an absolute pleasure.

Stayed here for a few nights mid November. Great location, walking distance to two subway stops as well as within easy reach of the botanical gardens and the university. Lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby. Room was cosy and clean, no lift that we saw but there's accessible rooms on the ground floor and we were only on the...

I highly recommend Argyll Western and will stay again with Argyll on my next trip to Glasgow. The room was clean. The bathroom was clean. The sheets, pillowcases and blankets were fresh and clean. Always had plenty of hot water. The room was prepared daily to include making beds, bathroom cleanup and vacuuming. There was very little noise during daylight...

We had great hopes for this hotel. The room was comfortable enough but the pillows where a little hard. However the worst of it was the breakfast. The scrambled eggs where runny, bacon anaemic and the sausages horrible. My husband couldn't eat his. We complain at the time but didn't get much of a response. It is especially disappointing as...

The bed was very comfy, I got a room with a nice view at the foot of the bed too so that was a nice touch. Everything was clean and welcoming. And for £60 as a last minute booking I couldn't have done better.

5/5 fantastic helpful staff who let us check in an hour early, helped with parking and also upgraded us to free breakfast as it was a surprise for my boyfriend's birthday! Gave us some muffins and pop for the room as well. Lovely clean rooms and love the tartan theme. Would definitely return - such a nice area with plenty...
