I stayed at Alamo Guest House as part of company accomodation for over a month. Steve and all of the staff at guest house were extremely friendly. The house is lovely and it does have the classical scottish feel to it. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. All in all, it was really wonderful to stay at the guest house...

We were in Glasgow to look at the University for my eldest daughter last week. The experience was perfect from the time I spoke to Steve on the telephone to make the reservation until the time we checked out. The house is located in a lovely part of Glasgow and is just beautiful with the Kelvingrove Park across the road....

We read all the positive reviews, and they were accurate: we can't imagine a better place to stay in Glasgow. Good restaurants and pubs can be found within a short walk, the location gives you direct access to the park, and the accommodation is quiet. Steve and Emma proved to be not only delightful hosts, but very helpful at every...

I had one night in the Alamo earlier this month and have already booked to go back with my husband next month. Steve and Emma couldn't have been more welcoming. The house is lovely and has been lovingly renovated with impressive attention to detail. Don't forget to look up; there are some magnificent ceilings to admire. My bedroom was very...

My partner had booked a 2 night stay as a surprise for my birthday at the Alamo. We stayed in room 12 and it was a lovely experience for us both. We could appreciate the time and effort that has gone into making this room and the public areas of the Alamo unique. We enjoyed the vast choice on offer...

I made my second visit to the Alamo with a very exacting companion whose usual choice for a weekend break is a 5 star hotel. Having stayed 2 years ago with my adult son, I knew he'd have nothing to worry about. The elegant exterior impresses & the building is beautifully placed next to the park & close to Kelvingrove...

I stayed at this wonderful guest house with my daughter just at the beginning of university in september and did not want to leave so even went back for a sixth night. I have not tasted bacon and eggs like it-from a local farm-enough reason alone to return! And the ceiling in the dining room is a work of art-a...

Excellant service from Steve with great recommendations for nearby restaurants. Lovely decor with charm. Great breakfasts with plenty of choice. Small but lovely room with everything I needed and all spotlessly clean. Great location on a quiet street with views over the park. I was at a conference at the SECC, which is a 10 minute walk away.

This is an excellent guest house! The owners attention to detail and service makes all the difference. Even the most demanding clients will enjoy staying here. Shared facilities are very good if you do not wish to take the en-suite. The decor has atmosphere and charm. The location is also very convenient for visitors to Glasgow.
