Fortunately I just needed a place to sleep for to nights, so I didn't really minded how it looked like. What I did mind was how noisy the room was. It wasn't possible to close the door to the toilet from outside, so I had to listen to the ventilation system all night and beside that, I could hear everything...

You can tell the staff weren't asked to be nice - As they were very normal, down to earth but just lovely. We were just passing through, but we couldn't fault them on anything - it was very pleasant. x

I had read some reviews that berated the layout and furnishings of the hotel and i cant imagine what they expect for the price. The hotel is spotlessly clean, furnished with everything you need, staff are helpful and friendly and breakfast caters for most needs is filling and adequate, also the location is in walking distance to city centre.

Good for a low budget stay but I didn't like that toilet was outside my room and shared with other guests, room wasnt very modern, however it was clean. The people who work there seemed a little awkward to me. Was a good price though, great for budgets.

Excellent quality for the asked price. Central enough. Can't ask for much more. I would strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to get the best of Glasgow for her/his money. I would definitely consider going back there

Myself, my partner and 7 month old daughter stayed overnight. The staff were not interested in the slightest, the window had been left open and the room was freezing (while it was snowing outside) the storage heater hadn't been switched on. The room was very basic with a broken shower and energy saving lights in the bathroom which go off...

Staff run a good enough ship, but hotel dated, shower broken, old broken fittings in room, quality of breakfast terrible! Although clean, not worth it and would not return. Plenty of choice elsewhere and for similar price.

Nice clean room. For a few pounds extrra I got an upgrade, with shower and toilet in the room. Good bed. Breakfast freshly cooked, good coffee and friendly staff. It's a 10 minute walk to the busstation. City center round the corner. Not suitable for wheelchairs, too many stairs....
