I stayed at a single room, basic and simple yet cosy. It was during the commonwealth games 2014, en suite rooms were sold out. My first experience of sharing bathroom, indeed a pleasant experience. Super nice bathroom, didn't have to share, saw no one. Big, white and clean bathroom with a nice tub. Perfect! Excellent staff, the manager from Poland...

Although this hotel is cheap and location is good. The hotel itself is not nice. The staff are rude and not welcoming at all. On prompting staff on a couple occasions that wifi wasn't working, none of staff did anything to sort it. This is poor service. Also, the noise that housekeeping staff make in morning is terrible. On my...

We booked for 3 nights at the end of July 2014. Parking is difficult and tickets need to be bought from the hotel. We had booked a double room. It was in the basement and was smaller than I would expect for a single room. The "double bed" (which was no more than a 3/4 size bed)took up most of...

We stayed here for just one night, and found it was in a good location (just beside the Botanical Gardens). The room was simple, however when first entering the basement room I found myself looking for the en-suite, only to find a minuscule shower room in something which was more of a built in wardrobe. I would however say that...

This hotel has no disabled facilities. We visited during Commonwealth games and paid £290.00 for 3 nights, not including breakfast.. We were situated in the basement, in a so called double room, which was a single room with a 3/4 bed pushed up against the wall. The heating couldn't be turned on, the window was painted shut. The very tiny...

We stayed in the Kelvin Hotel for two nights with our 20 month old daughter. While the Kelvin is certainly a budget option - our room was a little dated and a tad on the small side - we had a very enjoyable stay and felt well looked after. Despite its somewhat dated decoration, the hotel was absolutely spotless -...

We were lucky enough to book this hotel at a reasonable price for our visit to Glasgow to see the rugby. A lot of hotels we looked at had really increased their prices when the games were on and ones we had stayed at before were way over the top! We found the Kelvin hotel on a website and were...

I spent 4 nights in this a hotel in July I did not have hot water in the shower. My room was in the lower level and smelt damp. I could not turn the heater on. Wifi connection was really bad. I do not recommend this hotel.
