Stayed in kelvin hotel on Saturday with my partner and a friend. Was pleasantly surprised. Although in parts looking slightly dated the hotel is very clean and the staff are all helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was very nice with a good choice of food and drink. Well situated in a nice area in west end and only five minute...

The Kelvin is in a good location close to the Botanic Gardens at the crossroads of Byers Road and Great Western Road, where there is a good choice of local restaurants, bars and local shopping. It is not in the city centre but that is accessible fairly easily by bus or underground or a "long" walk. I stayed two nights...

Great Breakfast and atmosphere quiet spacious hotel with excellent service and a friendly welcome. Would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative to visit. Rooms are comfortable with a sink. There are communal showers and toilets separate to the guest rooms on each floor but quite satisfactory for an overnight stay.

We stayed in a 3 bedroomed room for 2 nights 9th -11th feb to see a show at the Hydro. Room was nipping clean however the room was down one flight of stairs which combined with the long set of stairs up to the dining room for breakfast was a nuisance as my wife had to settle for bacon sarnies...

I am sorry you were disappointed in your stay. I am sure if you had made the receptionist aware of any of these issues she would have remedied what was practically possible. Is is a Victorian Building with lots of features of the time. As for your accommodation we have ground rooms which would have accomadted you. All matters though...

If you were to park over Kelvin Bridge 5 minutes walk free parking is available for a reasonable time. We discourage big Vechicles in our Car Park as turning circle in lane is tight.
