I stayed here with a £45 voucher as we were needing somewhere to stay in the city centre for one night so that I could catch up with friends and have some drinks etc ..this was not for a romantic overnight away!!! I would not recommend the hotel for that type of stay. Pleasant welcome, room allocated on first floor....

I booked a compact double room for a Saturday night at the bargain price of £45 Reception staff very friendly and helpful Bed was very comfortable and location is fantastic. Do bare in mind the word compact, sink was a little small but usual, again the shower was a little claustrophobic but again perfectly usable. There is an ironing board...

I went here for an overnight stay with my husband.I read the other reviews the night before so we were a bit worried. The size of the room was good. The staff were nice. However, the colour scheme was pretty weird.Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was ok. Good shower and not the smallest bathroom I have been in.Bed was clean ,however, the room could...

Stayed here overnight as we recieved a voucher as an early Xmas present. Our stay was fine. The rooms are certainly small and a bit rough around the edges but if it's somewhere you are just needing to put your head down, it would be ideal. The bar/cafe was lovely and the staff extremely attentive. It's also in a great...

Stayed here on Hogmanay, although we were aware the rooms we booked were compact - they were stuck in the 60/70's! Small can still be nice but the place badly needs upgrading including the stairwell which is piller box red walls....YUK. The bed was very uncomfortable. The pro's - we had a drink at the bar and the staff was...

Our stay at the brunswick was good value for money. The room was fine, well equipped with kettle/iron/hairdryer. The shower room could do with some TLC / upgrading, but overall for the price the brunswick offers great value accommodation in an excellent location. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

This our second time at the Brunswick. If you are looking for a no frills hotel with a central location, this hotel will suit you. Staff are very friendly & accommodating. Our first room had a broken window catch. Once pointed out the receptionist was going to get their handyman to look at it but as he was going to...

My husband and I stayed here overnight just doing some Christmas shopping in Glasgow. Its a great city but unfortunately the hotel was not as nice. I'll start with the positives: very handy central location, great water pressure and temperature control in the shower, and the bed was sufficiently comfortable for a night. Now the negatives... We were given a...
