Executive room was large and overlooked the park opposite. Rooms clean and well made up although the heating was set too high but could turn it down. TV was a bit small but okay. Breakfast was the usual spread and well made. Steak pie for dinner was lovely.

I was given an upgrade to the town house which is a house joined to the main hotel. It was very nice. Large spacious room bit of a waste for just me but it was very clean and well presented. Food was excellent and the price was good too for the high quality. Definitely worth the money if you don't...

Stayed here on 27th January 2017 for my son's wedding reception. Booked the 2 bedroom apartment which had two good sized bedrooms and a small living area with fridge. A few steps to negotiate so it wouldn't suit a wheelchair user. Hotel and staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful. Prices for food and drink very reasonable for a hotel....

We stayed for one night (a Sunday) in January as part of my wife's birthday celebrations. The hotel consists of two buildings, originally I think two semi-detached houses, in a residential area in the south side of Glasgow. The buildings must have been quite grand houses in their time and they have been sympathetically converted, retaining their very ornate Edwardian(?)...

Held my daughters baby shower at the hotel. Had an amazing day. The events room is perfect with a lovely view of the garden. Nothing but praise for the buffet food. The staff are so friendly and helpful. An extra thank you to Victoria, a member of the events team. Couldn't have asked for a better person to work with....

Complained to reception about the room temperature, despite having the radiators off with the room and the windows open on 30th Dec! They refused to do anything, our friends stayed in another room and that was exactly the same. Both times visiting reception the receptionist was halfway through dinner or breakfast, perhaps they're short staffed? Either way it's tired, tatty...

Dear bandlNewcastle, I am sorry that were unhappy with your stay, as you say the temperature was warm on that particular day, unseasonably warm for the time of year! All radiators were off and windows open, unfortunately there was just no breeze to bring the temperature down. As you will have seen the hotel is going through a refurbishment, with...
