I was given a warm welcome, and a clean and comfortable room. I asked if I could leave my bags in the morning before checkin, and not only did they agree but changed me from a room on the top floor to one more accessible....More
Nice enough hotel but rooms are very small and the shower is ridiculously small. We only stayed one night so it wasn't too bad but the room did feel like a cupboard. It also wasn't in a great location, I'm sure there are nicer hotels...More

The trains from Edinburgh arrive at Queen St Station in the centre of Glasgow at George square. It is within walking distance from the Sandyford hotel but if you have luggage i would suggest a taxi. The Sandy does not have all the fancy ecutriments that you find in larger hotel chains but then again it does not have the high price tag either. It was a clean and welcoming hotel and i enjoyed my stay. it is ideally place near the centre of Glasgow and the concert halls.Hope you enjoy your stay.
