We stayed at The Flower House to attend a concert at the Hydro in October '14. A warm welcome was given by Susan and we were shown to our twin room downstairs. Accommodation and shared bathroom were kept spotless throughout our stay. We were welcome to use the Kitchen area next to the room for tea/coffee making facilities. Beds were...

I stayed in the flower house for a couple of days during the conference. It was great time staying there. I was anxious at the beginning, because you can't always rely on the reviews. BUT! It was actually great! I would say the real house outside or inside looks even nicer than the pictures! I also worried about the coldness...

Susan and Ian are friendly and helpful hosts. Comfortable room in which we were brought excellent breakfasts. Small kitchen where we could prepare food and store things. Wifi available. Located in a quiet street not far from the station, SECC, University, and restaurants in Argyll Street.

I have stayed at the beautiful Flower House several times (most recently in March 2014) and I am counting the days until I return -- it is truly a gem, and Susan and Ian are the most wonderful hosts! The Flower House is on a quiet street but located very conveniently between the West End (University of Glasgow, Kelvingrove Park...

We stayed here about a month ago while there to attend my sister's wedding. I'm so glad we chose this place! It has a unique quiet charm and being served breakfast in our rooms was a beautiful luxury. The caretaker was extremely informative and very generous with her advice about how to get around which was very helpful for us...

Almost reluctant to write a review in case too many people find out about this lovely place! Warm, comfortable rooms with character, so different from anonymous hotel rooms. Breakfast in our rooms, white linen tablecloth and more than we needed in terms of breakfast. A kitchen where we could make a cup of tea, or, if desired, heat up something...

I attended a conference held at SECC last September. From the airport, you can take Bus 500 & get off the 3rd stop (Grand Central Station). Take the train and get off at the Exhibition Center; walk along Minerva St and turn left at St Vincent Crescent. The Flower House was about 10-15 min walk to SECC, with a covered...

We stayed for one night, and I can say that Ian and Susan are very welcoming. We stayed in the "ground" floor bedroom (the floor you walk in on from the road). This room was amazing, a unique but very relaxing decor. It felt very much like being at home with the parents, without the stress of your parents asking...

We have stayed three times in this B&B and highly recommend it, it certainly beats everything else in the same area and price range. The bedrooms are high Victorian but the bathrooms are something else! High fashion Biba-esque 1970's style glamour. Everything is scrupulously clean, the welcome warm as toast and the breakfast a magnificent spread.

We stayed on Tuesday after a last minute (literally!) change of dates. We can't thank Susan Enough for pulling out all the stops to enable our trip to go ahead - a truly magnificent landlady who throws in a perfect guest house with great breakfasts as a bonus. Our room was immaculate with a very comfortable bed and nice outlook...
