Hotel was very clean - to the point I'm sure no one had stayed in our room yet. Extremely central being right above central station, but no noise surprisingly. Compact and bijoux. We didn't eat here as booked room only and we're going for a business breakfast, but the free cookies, smarties and bottled water were appreciated. Lovely Arran Aromatics...

Good location next to Glasgow Central station. As has been mentioned previously, don't be put off by the rather unappealing Union Street entrance - once in the lift and onto the 6th floor, the hotel is a breath of fresh air! Minimalist yet welcoming decor - wooden floors throughout, very light and airy. Bed was comfortable, bathrooms are small yet...

Booked this hotel online for first time stay. Fresh, contemporary decor in my spacious single room with bathroom. Quality inclusions, wide range of choices in breakfast buffet and extra touches in the sitting room with 24/7 coffee/tea, cakes and daily fresh ice cream made on the premises available for guests. The hotel is right in the centre of the city...

This is a hidden gem in Glasgow. Not a particularly welcoming front entrance on Union St but once you are inside you're in a different world. Friendly staff check you in and show you to your room reminding you to help yourself to free ice cream, cupcakes that are all made by hotel staff. I did and they were superb....

This is a stylish boutique style hotel on the 6 (top) floor of an office block next to central station. Once inside its difficult to fault. Beds are super comfy and decor superb. Exceptionally clean. No outside noise, trains or otherwise. I can't recommend this as a four star as the outside is a mess, a refuse tip. Union street...

We stayed here for a weekend and couldn't have picked a nicer or better located hotel in Glasgow. It's practically part of the train station with the journey from platform to hotel reception taking no more than 5 minutes. Rooms have everything you need, (ask for a hairdryer from reception) and are modern and comfortable. Staff were friendly and the...

for a long time i have been looking for a reasonably priced clean place to stay in glasgow. I go over a couple of times a year and am fed up staying in dingy dank converted houses that look good but once you get there are really not up to standard. Well no more. The Grasshopper hotel is the perfect...

The hotel is a great find, super stylish rooms, elegant and very clean. The staff are super friendly. The free cake and ice cream is such a nice touch, our young son thinks "it is the best hotel in the world". Great central location, but extremely quiet. The breakfast in the morning was lovely. Can't fault the hotel. When coming...

A good hotel for a one or two night stay. Have stayed here a couple of times before. Clean, nice, few extras, ice cream, coffee, cake. Friendly staff. Breakfast not as good as it used to be, but would still go back.
