Stayed with friends after charity dinner. Food was good, a little slow. The rooms were nice and breakfast the next morning was lovely. Good location and nice view of the river. Ideal for Hydro,SECC, Armadillo.

We stayed for one night, due to having a gig on at the SECC. Very welcoming and professional staff, rooms are excellent. Beds are very comfortable & the black out blinds are nothing to be disappointed about! Nice touch receiving mint chocolates and 'sleep spray' Loved it and will be back

Due to family illness and other matters we have not had the chance to stay at this wonderful hotel for sometime, we attended a concert at the nearby s e c c and took the chance to stay at the crowne plaza. From check in until our departure we had a lovely time meeting up with old friends who still...

Last visit was in 2014 and glad to see that they have done some refurbishments in the rooms and corridors which has made things much better. Typical hotel of this chain, clean, modern, well equipped and comfortable. The standard rooms are up to the standards of the "Club" or "Executive" rooms of other hotels....mine had Superking bed, decent size TV,...

Large hotel, with nice views over the river. Handy for anything going on at the Hydro etc. But taxi required to town centre. Rooms are a bit tired and the one I had was extremely warm, I had to put the aircon on to cool it down. This meant I had a noise like an aircraft engine going all night....

Great hotel, fab restaurant, pool area, bar etc. We were exhibiting at the SECC and walked from the hotel to SECC without even leaving the building. Twin beds, duvet was so small, barely reached the side of the bed and occasionally we had intermittent hot water. But overall very good.

Wanted a quick bite to eat and drink before a show at the Armadillo. Ordered the diablo pizza and we are yet to find the hot chilli sauce and pulled chicken. The toppings were barely cooked and the base was insipid and pre-made. Not worth £12:95 - a Lidl value pizza would have been tastier.

Great stay, clean tidy rooms, staff very helpful. We had a great Saturday night party and the bar stayed open until 03.30 when we finally give up....🍸 Sunday was a bit of a disaster as we lost All power in the hotel and the emergency power did not trip, so I was left in the dark in the bath. But...

I have not stopped in this hotel for a number of years and was surprised how much the area has changed. The hotel itself, well certainly my room was very good and appeared to have been recently refurbished. It was very clean, warm and comfortable. The hotel bar is also very good and very pleasant for a hotel bar. Breakfast...
