Stayed here before. Rooms are small but bathrooms are larger. Very clean. Needs a lick of paint. Very ramada-esque. Would stay again. Great location. Near George Square and central station. Very comfy beds and freeview tv.

I attempted to book a weekend break and was on hold to their 0844 number for 37 minutes, I ended the call and found another number on line that took me through tomthebhotel directly, a hotel reception that could not take my reservation .....i was transferred to Central reservations, another 17 minutes on hold only to be told to call...

Hi DonnieRoss, Thanks for your review. I am surprised to hear you were on hold for 37 minutes for our call centre, this is the first time I have heard of this as an issue I will certainly forward this review to our call centre manager and you have my apologies for this. If you were calling to redeem an...

Great location just off main shopping in Queen Street. Ingram Street has lots of designer shops. Handy for train station as you can walk it in 5-10 min. Also handy for George Square to get sightseeing tours etc. Hotel food was good, staff were nice and service was very good. Ate breakfast for 3 mornings and 3 course dinner one...

Second time staying here and while it's compact and basic it's perfect for shopping/drinking and entertaining. No transport/taxis needed . Staff very helpful. Can't comment on breakfast in hotel as didn't eat there

Spent an enjoyable three days staying at the Mecure. Hotel has basic facilities but this is made up by excellent rates & fantastic location right in the centre of the city. It has parking right behind the hotel which is extremely handy. Would recommend

DREADFUL - Staff smoking outside room late at night and therefore unable to open window due to noise and smoke. Bathroom smelt so much of urine we had to buy a bottle of Febreze just to take away the dreadful smell, and pubic hairs not cleaned from bathroom or bedroom! Absolutely horrible - the hotels cleanliness leaves a lot to...

Hi anniebH4853WY, I think we may have already spoken independently of this review. As I mentioned the staff smoking outside were from the licensed establishment next door I will speak to the manager there to see if there is anything we can do to prevent it in the future. The room cleanliness I apologise wholeheartedly for and it has been...

Room was terrible value for money. We paid for the executive room (better than standard but not as good as a suite) and I didn't even have enough space to take off my wedding dress. The room was boiling hot all the time. . . They want to charge you crazy prices to send drinks up the to the room....

Hi tripadvisr88, Thanks for your review and congratulations on your marriage. Sorry to hear the room was warm, our rooms are compact which is evident from previous reviews. Our drinks prices are the bar prices with a tray charge as we have to send a member of staff up to the room and then the tray needs to be collected...

The hotel itself is clean and located around all the amenities. Unfortunately our room (401) faced onto the main road and every vehicle and drunkard which went up Ingram Street could be heard. I appreciate this is a city centre hotel but you would expect it to have triple glazing to rectify the noise! Breakfast at £14 a pop was...

Hi Ayrshire_angel, Thanks for the review and sorry to hear you found your room noisy, we are right on Ingram street in Zone 1 of the city so ambient noise can be heard, we have double glazing as in 2 separate windows and hopefully in the future these can be upgraded. Breakfast is £11 if booked the night before and...

Recently stayed here through business and found my room to be extremely small and not particularly clean. Cramp surroundings made it difficult to complete work, poor sleep as room was extremely hot and lots of noise from outside so unable to open window. Staff were not very accommodating and failed to help with advice, laundry being delivered in the morning...

Hi Sarahp3452678, Thanks for the review and apologies from me you didn't enjoy your stay. I was really surprised at the comments about the staff as we generally get very good feedback. Our laundry company is supposed to deliver in the middle of the night so apologies for the inconvenience of that, I will report back to them. Kind Regards...
