We stayed over at Belhaven Hotel one night last week to attend at a wedding in Glasgow. The staff were helpful and friendly. The freshly cooked breakfast in the morning was much appreciated, The Belhaven is situated in the West End of Glasgow with street parking and directly across from the Botanic Gardens for a beautiful morning walk. I would... More

A Glasgow local recommended staying in the West End as opposed to downtown. It was definitely the right decision. The Belhaven is on a quiet access road that parallels the busy Great Western Road. The Botanic Gardens are right across the street for a beautiful morning walk. And with Byres Road nearby, there is no shortage of shopping, eating, and... More

We chose this hotel because we were travelling further north to Fort William and it was an easy drive to Loch Lomond and beyond. The chap on reception when we arrived was very pleasant and ensured we had all of the information necessary to have an enjoyable stay. Our room was huge and overlooked the gardens across the road. Parking... More

Recently stayed here during the Ryder Cup taking place at Gleneagles. Hotel is in a very good location of Glasgow's West End near the Byres Rd which is full of eating options and pubs/bars to go to of an evening. Would definitely recommend staying here instead of in the city centre and The Belhaven is only an £8 taxi away... More

Stayed here while in Glasgow to see a show in the Hydro. We found our stay very pleasurable, the staff were very friendly and really wanted to help you in any way they could, breakfast was fantastic, probably the best meal I had while in Glasgow. The family room was excellent value for money, the building itself had lots of... More

I picked this hotel as it was affordable and close to the lovely entertainment venue Oran Mor on Glasgow's Byres Rd. The lovely historic building was a delight to stay in, and we probably paid a fraction of the cost of the Hilton, which was just down the road. We booked a family room, which was spacious and comfortable. The... More

Stayed here for one night in April and the service, room, location and breakfast were outstanding. Would definitely recommend to all staying in Glasgow. Its on the same street as the Hilton and close to some fab restaurants and bars. There is parking outside the Hotel on the street.

We were here as we were visiting friends in the west end. We found the staff extremely helpful; nothing was too much trouble. We really would prefer a later breakfast period though as it was a struggle to get up in time! I understand this is obviously a staff management decision but I noticed a lot of comments on this... Don't think this place has been decorated since the 70s....which matches the customer service and facilities. You have to pay extra for tea and coffee in your room...and breakfast - which is included in the price- stops at 8:45am. We were not informed of this on check in and when we asked for our money back we were met with... More

Dear Guest, Firstly the breakfast times are displayed at reception, on our website, in your room and you were informed at check-in. If you didn't know the breakfast time do you not think it would be logical to make an enquiry rather than to make an assumption and show up 1 hour late after the cut-off time to then shout... More
