My partner and I where attending an event in Glasgow yesterday and decided it would be beneficial to stay the night. My cousin from Australia had all ready booked a room for her and a friend so we decided to tag along! Well what a big mistake that was! When we arrived they where complaining about taking the payment but... More

As you'll see from the photos this place is awful and falling apart. Shower won't stay hot, bedding has holes in it and carpets held together by gaffer tape. That God it's only for one night. Staff are friendly but that's the only plus point. It's -1 outside yet there's no heating on! Bit of a death trap if the... More

Filthy dirty: dirty sheets, carpets, shared bathrooms. Stank of cigarettes. Dilapidated: frayed carpets, wallpaper etc. Noisy: traffic, other people's phonecalls heard through paper thin walls (plus snoring!!) Rip-off: way over priced for such a dump. AVOID.

Needed an affordable place to stay the night after concert due to trains not running to Stirling. Very unfriendly looks right away as I entered the hotel from reception staff. I pleasantly said Hi reservation for "my name" I was then asked for ID, I said back ID? I was angry at that, never once I have been asked for... More

Had booked this hotel for a couple of nights for the Justin bieber concert at the hydro. Stay was enjoyable and check in was really efficient which was perfect as we just wanted to get to our room to quickly get ready for the concert. Room was clean and recently refurbished judging by the newish bathroom. Didn't wake up for... More

My husband and I booked to stay at Smiths hotel for 2nights, however after spending one sleepless and uncomfortable night there we left straight after breakfast. The room was tiny, and the bed had seen better days. I don't think that there was one spring left in the mattress !! The breakfast was tasteless. We will definitely NOT stay here... More

Very cheap so I thought how bad can it be? Well it's seen better days. Zero investment with the owners milking it for all they can. The wallpaper in my first room had previously come away from the wall, only to be repositioned with the aid of a hammer and nails. My radiator leaked water everywhere, when I went down... More

Do not stay here- outdated, clean -ish, unfriendly staff, can get a REAL hotel for the same price. Wouldn't recommend unless you were to use the room to only sleep in, not to stay in. We weren't welcomed very well, and i didn't feel safe staying.

Attic room with a really low ceiling, floor at a slope and a cupboard for a ensuite. Taped up carpets on the stairways. No parking available at the back, and we checked in at 2.30pm and still had...
