Lovely sandstone building. Variety of rooms available including a family apartment (double room/lounge, separate twin, bathroom and kitchen). Breakfast served daily (choice from a menu). Library area in guest lounge. Guest kitchen to prepare your own evening meals and snacks. Great transport links, train one stop direct into city centre (8 minutes) Bus stop directly outside house, reduced rate taxi company available. Large garden / patio area to rear of the house. Stayed here for 2 nights for a family celebration. Fabulous hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The place was very clean and comfortable. And the French fruit breakfast option was better than anything I've had in a 5 star hotel. Would definitely stay here again.
Arrived at pre arranged time and met with John who started to explain the local amenities and best way to get around; including a short walk to a station that goes into Glasgow (Central) and only one stop.
